  1. Good morning CQN from a -3 and light white dusting of snow felled, freezing Garngad

Good result last night and back where we belong.

St Johnpstone would get Football banned with that performance, everyone behind the ball pish.

Sunday on their own midden will be even harder for us.

We need to break and attack quicker, when teams do commit men forward and get in behind them, still too slow and pedantic for my liking.

One game at a time Bhoys, let’s get job done on Sunday.

    D. :)

  2. Good morning friends from a really, really cold and frosty East Kilbride.

4 tough games in 3 competitions now await. Loving it!

    Yes.

    Thanks for pointing that out.

But that`s the first time i`ve seen the amount actually confirmed .

Thought it may be of interest.

  4. Couldn’t watch the game as had a travel ‘mare’ due to a couple of inches of snow at Manchester Airport. (How DO those Canadians cope?) Tried to read updates on CQN but even that went down, just before we got our 1st, so I was happy when I finally got the result. Watched the wee highlight thingy on YaChoob this morning and thought we took our goals really we. 2 great efforts from Callum and Ryan. A couple of other good chances well saved and it was a clear penalty denied. The Team look unified and all looked happy with the win.

    Only downside! Its bloody freezing.

  5. BBC Breakfast sports report talking about 2 spectacular goals from Celtic last night. Showed the CalMac goal then said “you can decide if Ryan Christie’s is better than that”.

You should check out our accounts and the unsustainable wage bill we’re paying.

I’ve seen the accounts, we’ve got about £42 mil in the bank, inc Dembele fee.Why do we not tell players, and their agents to find another club?

  7. Bada

‘Why do we not tell players, and their agents to find another club?”

I think we’ve been saying that for some time now to Comperr, for example. I would be surprised if Allan and Benyu and De Vries had not been told similar.

If only the telling equalled the doing, it would be grand.

  8. morning bhoys from a foggy freezing Cheshire,,from someone who has been giving lustig pelters recently, thought he was excellent last night.hh.

  9. For me the Christie goal was the better of the two . That lad has tremendous technique. Little or minimal backlift .

I’d said to my son at halftime that Christie wasn’t having a great game ( I thought Ajer was our best player in first 45).

The second 45 saw a much improved Ryan and a much more incisive Celtic. We were a yard quicker middle to front and moved the St Johnstone defenders around to much better effect.

Jozo seemed focused last night too. Good thing as it looks like he’ll be seeing a lot more playing time in the next couple months.

Izzy? Looks unfit to me now. Hurry back KT please!

Loved that tonight, was fffffffreeezing cold and oor Cal and oor Ryan made the difference. Magic.

Great to see loads of old and good regular names on and plenty positive comments. And some great satire too… hope you enjoy that tea T.

Angel G and Gg… spot on re the ref… red card on PC Lustig all day long

    2 things that I hadn’t seen mentioned until – HRVATSKI JIM on 30TH JANUARY 2019 10:57 PM

Spot on… what a ball, also the pace of oor Jamsiebhoy… would have been the icing on the cake. That was the first, the other was the touch by oor Ryan, before the sublime finish. He took 2 defenders out of play with a dummy… genius…

It’s great to be a Tim. Night all Hail Hail??☘️

  13. Horrified by the beggar story, I’ve contributed to his lifestyle a few times and had a few words with him. All I can say is let justice be done.

  14. Lennybhoy,

Any info on why we didn’t pursue Gumny……too expensive, he wasn’t keen, we prefer the Dortmund boy etc?

You might not know (or be able to say too much) but thought I would ask

  15. traditionalist88 on

Maybe its a condition of the deal that Shved goes back to Ukraine but I’d have thought it’d have been more beneficial to him and us to send him to a club in the English Championship in order to get him out his comfort zone and get used to the style of football played here, the language etc.

Also, is there any more information on Gutman?

The situation raises a fair few questions – did he think he was coming to join the first team squad immediately? Was he put off by intimidation from huns? Does he just not fancy Scotland?

    HH

  16. SFTB- It’s because these guys are on money they won’t get elsewhere, that’s where the stockpiling starts, and wastes money which could be used on new players. HH

  17. Twists- Ajer has been outstanding last 3 games, looks as if he’s bulked up a bit more physical, starting to dominate his opponent.

  18. Boro want to sign Aberdeen centre-half Scott McKenna before the deadline; a bid of under £5million is being discussed Aberdeen have already rejected one bid from Stoke City already

  19. We have currently 36 players in our first team squad. 33 outfield players, 7 are currently on injured list & The Griff is out sick leaving us with 25.

However Compper, Alan, Mulumbu, Benyu, Gamboa are most unlikely to play again for Celtic & Morgan looks like going out on loan, so our real outfield squad is 19.

    What’s up with Boyata?

    =========

Apart from his dodgy positional sense, the habit of getting spooked on big occasions and the fact hes not committed to Celtic, I think he has a minor injury and will be back very soon.

From what I heard it was just down to the medical but don’t think it got that far, why, I have no information.

    Until we meet again…

    Keep the Faith!

    Hail Hail!

  22. Joe Filippis Haircut on

For me Oliver Burke is never a striker and if we are going to get the best out of the boy we have to find his best position. We now have strikers available and dont need to play him out of position.Last nights game was a good professional performance and we now ave a 6 point lead to defend so well done to Brendan and the Bhoys.H.H.
