Lucky you, but I’m told on very good authority that the Antiguan sharks are very partial to Lawyer meat.

A third goal would have given Brendan the luxury of resting a couple,of players ahead of Valencia.
As it is he will be cautious given the opportunities Saints had near the end of the first half.

Run them ragged for 20 mins in the 2nd half then set Timo Bhoy loose on them :))))

Watching Celtic TV here in Denia. Out of interest, is it the same cameras that are being used for the live TV coverage or to Sky, Premier, BT etc. ?

Oli’s movement for the first goal was brilliant, delighted for Sinclair to get on the end of it

Sinclair tally ‘incredible for wide player’
Celtic 2-0 St Johnstone

Quote Message: 57 goals in 144 games – as a wide player, that is incredible, with the stick he’s taken over the last couple of seasons. You have to look at the goals he’s scoring and at his contribution to the team

The intensity has dropped after the 2nd goal. Need better support from midfield for these cutbacks, a few good chances wasted. Otherwise, comfortable, but let’s not be complacent. Well done so far, more of the same with quick pass and move to wear them down. Go for it Celtic. HH

Broony covers brilliantly at right back, great reading by our capitano
Ref stops play for Saint player as we break forward.
Toljan over laps down right and just unable to get better of defender. Promising.
Saints corner
FK saints. 25 yards out.
Cross into area. Headed behind. Mysteriously ref awards xorner
Celtic lucky to clear, another corner Saints. HT
Out of jail there.
Broony clears from st J corner
Brown hooks behind for second corner.
Goes long.
HT 2-0.
Saints will be happy to get into dressing room only 2 down
Well deserved 2-0 lead at halftime
Internet reception is not great, but wanted to say hello from Sunny Antigua. Off to the beach
Credit to St. Johnstone 2 down after 9mins & facing a mauling, they have stayed in the game and have created a couple of chances.
Cruising in third gear 2-0 up saving some juice for Thursday
Managed to catch the Hesgoal stream, thanks for the goals on here always appreciated!
So far so good, playing well with a gear or two to go I think if we need them.

SAINT STIVS
A goal every 2.5 games, some figures for a wide-o:)
DeniaBhoy: Can’t be sure but I would think so.
Our movement is improving all the time.
One thing i would like to see is either Christie or McGregor attacking the space created in last third by Burkes fantastic movement.
Sinclair should take his man on as he has him for pace.
I also like that both centre half’s are stepping out with the ball when space opens ahead of them.
It really nullifies the press of opponents.
The exciting thing about Oli is the potential improvement in his play the more games he gets , got a hunch there’s a lot more to come from him .
Frightening prospect for the rest of the league
KA on for Jozo
Jozo, ill
Watt on for St J
KA on for Jozo
We kick off
KA fantastic pass as Saints press
Holman does well,to bring down a KA cross field ball.
23 cup wins in a row for the pub team skelper ..:)
Joking aside, what a record Brendan has
