  1. That shocking miss from Turnbull, has set the tempo of this game.Score, and it’s a different match.

  2. I worry about Abada – doesn’t look lovely interested and rarely look face up a defender.

Poor over all over – movement looks laboured and limited which is why we are pissing about at the back so much

Game’s in the balance. St J are horrible, but good at what they do. We started great, but since then have huffed and puffed. Meantime Walsh is just waiting for his moment, the wee jump the dyke.

We’ve offered little down the right. Something Ange wight look at changing with Forrest.

Kyogo been quiet, but always lurking.

Bitton has been excellent. Turnbull been okay, but can do better.

    Still fancy us, 1-o.

  4. It was always going to be like this.

James Forrest on after an hour and if only we picked our first choice left back and played Croatia’s roghtback in his proper position.

  5. Far too slow in our build up play and too many misplaced passes.

Get Bitton off before he gets sent off.

  6. Celtic opened well as an attacking side as we always do, pity David didn’t do a Bertie.

Very predictable Saints with blanket defence and hoping for more breaks from Walsh who booked Bitton

    for his first tackle.

AP must build a side for all seasons, not one that just scores before opponents settle ( see Betis etc )

    Unleash Jamesie CSC

  7. Only one team trying to play football, StJ jusy hoof it forward and hope for a foul or a mistake from a defender, we need to score first and then they have to try and come forward, very hard to play against and 2 blocks have saved 2 goals, space is non existent in the middle so both wide players need to take their men on .

  8. Excellent game but St Johnstone throwing themselves at everything and gaining in confidence. Bitton playing well in his best position but on a yellow (harsh). We don’t seem able to get Abada into the game and everything coming down the left flank where Jota is performing a masterclass but we’ve missed the chances he’s created. Still I’m confident about the second half. Need more from Abada or he’ll be subbed on 60 if not before. Cant see any other subs happening unless there’s an injury or unless Bitton comes close to a second yellow.

  9. Biton excellent.Best man so far.Abada.Dont want to be too critical because he has not had a yard to run into.

Turnbull,Calmac, must do more.I said before the game about passing it about in front of their defence. No penetration. With wide men playing on the touchlines, its up to our two midfielders to join up with Kyogo.

The MIB has played his first card.

0-0 after 70 mins and a Bitton red will change the game.

  11. St J do what St J do as most teams do against us , pack defence, frustrate us , let us have the ball in areas we can’t score and do any damage and only get involved when we get around their box, we need to be quicker in moving ball forward with lots of player movement , they are content up to now , we need to up our game.

  12. TURKEYBHOY.

    Bitton has been excellent.

    You having a laugh.

CCV is having to pass rorward to no one, as Bitton is making an angle for him. He is to immobile

  13. St Johnstone bring urgency – a team totally focused on the game in hand. Celtic bring their training-ground routine – repetitive, predictable & pedestrian. So much ineffectual possession that it is boring. If scoring goals is what the game’s about, then St Johnstone look the more likely.

As Livingston proved, if you set up your team like ten Duracell bunnies to constantly press & harry, you neuter Celtic. The big worry is that St Johnstone have a goal-threat and could ‘pinch’ this game.
