  8. Big Georges Fan Club:

I apologise if you thought I was being rude, or up myself in any way, I wasn’t. I got the impression you would do the right thing if only you could but only for the sake of a few spare pounds that you might not be able to spare.

To be honest, my wife would kill me if she knew what I will do. But I’ll do what I’ll do because I believe it is the right thing to do; rightly or wrongly time and my God will know and maye I’ll make a wee difference to suffering statistics.

I don’t need shares in Celtic, I don’t really want shares in Celtic, I will buy shares in Celtic in my boys names and use them in proxy if the need like Canamalar’s ever arises.

But I’m a distant supporter; I could buy shares in my name, nothing grand, just a wee packet would do. And with the wee packet comes the privilege of a vote. On me that vote would be wasted. That vote might be better utilised by a home Supporter, whether he can afford to make the games or not.

    There were times I couldn’t.

    My offer stands.

I have my issues with the SFA, but nobody will listen to me from Brisbane.

I love being part of the culture of caring.

The best part of caring is I don’t give a toss who knows I care or not. I know. All the guys who backed Kano’s 125 thankyou to Celtic Supporters for taking him home, Kano doesn’t know who backed him. He’ll never know, but he’s home. What ever comfort life has for him he’ll get at home and it was the compassion and coin of strangers that gave him that comfort, and the vast, vast, majority of them don’t even live in the same hemisphere as him and far fewer have ever had the pleasure of meeting the man.

All those guys who backed Kano’s thank you with pound notes, well their money goes into a charity pot, that money will be distributed around the world. Kids who don’t know what a toy is, might get one. Kids who are starving might get a meal. Kids who are sick might get medicine. Woman who have been abused might receive meaningful support. And all those kids and hurting women, they’ll never know who it was who actually helped them… never. And all those Celtic Supporters who gave or tried to give, or prayed, they’ll go to their cold graves never knowing just how much of a difference they made, and made they did.

In our little world what binds us together is our club and our collective heart. The more we can help our club achieve a level playing field, the more – less fortunates – we can help, and who cares if somebody pins a medal on our chests, you can’t eat a medal.

I’m quite happy to gob off on here now and again and risk ridicule because I care and I don’t worry. I’m quite happy to buy shares in Celtic to support Canamalar but I just feel they would be wasted in my name.

    My offer stands.

My offer stands on the condition that you support the Celtic ethos, and if we ever get into the EPL your share certificate will have even more power to help those less fortunate and you use your wee vote accordingly.

  9. Still not seen any of the goals!

    Feed working better now ‘tho.

Hoping to see a few more.

    HH!!

  10. .

Charlie Mulgrew.. Teemu Pukki and Steven Whittaker have Now Scored the Same amount of Goals this Season than Gary Hooper scored for Celtic in the Champions League in 3 Years..
