   Very satisfactory performance. Remember last year post European matches how we struggled against modest opposition. So far a marked improvement, Efe & Van Dijk look classy albeit they are not under too much pressure, Stokes & Pukki lively up front. Derk is frustrating me slightly, I can sense a quality player there just waiting for something to happen for him.

   Thanks for the compliment, it puts today’s sectarianism into context when one views the recent past.

    

    

   And it is fairly recent. Cormack’s anti-RC party got over 30% of the vote in Edinburgh just 12 years before I was born so it is hardly surprising that I came up against bigotry from the sons of Cormack’s peers is it?

    

    

   It would be surprising if I didn’t!

    

    

   But times change and we shouldn’t accept the sectarianism that we experienced for our children/grandchildren.

    

    

   My petition is about change. Change to the old boys dominated judiciary. The handshake and nod and wink brigade must go.

    I think Neil has learned from the Euro games, keep playing the boys so long as they’re capable… Switch if tired (Kris looked a wee bit flat IMO). Great shape, the more we play this direct Football, the more we don’t need to adapt to a more negative play… Barca excepted… Perhaps! :o)
