When you two guys are talking about forums and fixes then I know things need changing. Hopefully those referred to earlier as maybe looking in here will take note.
Thought we were very slack defending corners today, too many free headers for St J players in our penalty box, good teams will exploit this fully.

Our game against Aberdeen will be a top of the table clash.
Overall an relatively easy win for Celtic. Concentration levels dipped towards the end of the 2nd half with St J offering more of an attacking threat. St J missed an open goal and 2 rapid wonder saves from Ghod (CG) kept the score line respectable.
Positives (IMO) Tommy Rogic looks to be the player we always hoped he would be. Craig Gordon again proving he is one of the best keepers In Europe.
Room for improvement: Obvious requirement for a proven experienced striker, LG working manfully and scoring but, again imo, doesn’t offer the required threat to play up front on his own. Faded as game progressed.
Negatives: None we won coming off a disastrous soul rending defeat on Tuesday.

Not a brilliant performance but the objective was 3 points, we got that and that will do for me. The excitenent now moves off pitch, who will go and who will come in over next couple of days. Welcome to Tyler, hope you are as good as Jason and hope we have the option to make move permanent if you are.

The international break should give Brown a chance to recover from the injury he picked up.
And the rest of the team the chance to put Tuesday night in the rear view mirror

We need better off the ball movement especially from centre mids attacking last third.
We look good but always seem to apply the brakes when we hit the final third.
Also think we need a proper defensive mid as i don’t think Bitton is suited to that role and it exposes our central defenders.
Both full backs were very good.
Again when Brown went off we lacked drive.
Griffiths leads the line very well and never stops working.
Rogic has some skill and can only get better.

I’ve posted this before, but I know a few refs (all Jambos), they all came through at the same time as Dallas Jnr. They hated having to be his assistant at games because any error was always attributed to them and not the ref by the assessor. They knew they were getting marked down no matter their performance as it was seen he could do no wrong.
It was ordained from the start that he was to be a top league ref no matter how he performed.

Decent enough performance today (apart from the o.g. blip). Impressed with Janko – few others in the Team could do with a bit muscle up top – some too easily pushed off the ball.
Still need to move the ball quicker in the final 1/3 and be a bit more clinical in front of goal. A bit of guile and experience wouldn’t go amiss!
That said – time now to address the shortcomings so far and assess the ‘comings & goings’ during the ‘break’ and prepare the Team for an intense September.

I can exclusively reveal :-)) that this is already happening and that Celtic are well ahead of the game in this respect. They have formed a group of 60 business and professional big hitters to draw on their expertise. The group has a name which I won’t reveal. The Club don’t want to give this too much publicity in case others compete with them. Meetings and presentations have taken place already. My bro-in-law is one of these guys. Many of them have influence on a global scale, holding senior positions with large, well known businesses.
