Cheers for the updates mate. In Sliema in Malta just now. 29 degrees outside. Great to be away from the negativity on here.

    Hail Hail

  2. Dallas Dallas where the heck is Dallas on

Gerry, thank you , I plan too.

Both the little darlings are at school. Peace and quiet in the house which is a rarity.

I will be delighted, however, when I see them after school’s finished.

    Enjoy your day off .

  3. Pedro has said we factor in EL participation and not CL money to keep the books balanced, should we expect that the VvD money will be reinvested in the team ?

I’ll no be holding my breath then :-)

    Sleep well Timland.

Rye can keep you amused with his riveting wit and endless trolling.

  4. Seriously…..

Equivalent of Celtic squad / team in England at the minute……

    Sheffield Wednesday / Leeds United?

Happy to have seen Roy Keane in paradise even if it was at the wrong time.

    ———-

Aye he was incredible on his debut at Clyde away :-)

Not sure what he brought to us. Felt like he was ticking a box.

Roy was outstanding at Ibrox, he’d nod shoulders above everybody, he strolled it when we were not doing that well there

Definitely not all of it. Summer 2013 and January 2014 window left us with a £10M profit on transfers. Yet at 30 June 2014 we had net cash in bank of just under £4M. Not only that we were in the CL. The Annual Report states that we made a net profit of just over £11M. Although there were one-off costs of nearly £5M.

    That’s really, really frightening.

I now suspect we made a reasonable loss last season, which the VvD sale will cover. We’ll do the same again this season and sell again (Bitton?) next summer to cover that.

Maybe the board are right. Maybe we do need the new club in the top league. The ground will be fuller when the fakers are in the league. That hacks me off completely a) because it’ll vindicate the board stance b) it’ll vindicate the smsm stance c) just because.

  11. Reading back,

If you’re still having problems with your computer, when you switch it on it probably gives you four options. Including ‘start computer in safe mode’ and ‘Start Windows normally’

Scroll to the latter, and press return button. Then put your computer into a full scan while you use it.

    Hope that helps.

    Lust = list

But when it comes to Celtic maybe lust is nearer my heart than list

And maybe that’s why I am in the living room and the missus is in her kip

  15. Favorites huh,

The 1 true King, Oozed class as a man, footballer and (true dignity) captain.

Late 60s / early 70s Uni mate regularly opined that Willie Fernie was Middlesbrough ‘s best ever player .As did his older brother and father.

Player I wish had played for Celtic? – Gianni Rivera – what a treat it would have been to have watched The Little Priest whilst standing at Priests’ Corner

We all know how disproportionate the ‘punishments ‘ will be

Don’t patronise me mate….You have a resolution that is parked up and destined to fail…

Cheers for pulling me up on the grammar, it’s quite he’d word typing when a wee shandy or two has been consumed, by the way I quite quite like Adam & the Ants, the Kings of the Wild Frontier and all that, ma dad didn’t like that sort of stuff, guys wearing make-up wasn’t his sort of stuff

  21. Gerryfraethebrig,

sorry mucker wisnae pulling you up on grammar,

Totally agree but watch that game at Ibrox, he was immense, and trust me we didn’t win many there around that time…… If you think we won there often I wish I remembered them !

    Low battery

Good night CQN & God bless

  23. And by the way mate! No one in my family has ever been at the back of any bus. You clearly have an inferiority complex.

    Mate.

  24. I’m going to have to state this again because I’m really, really concerned now.

End of season 2013 – end of season 2014.

£10M+ profit from player sales + £20M+ from CL.

End of season account £15M surplus.

That now puts us at £15M loss in a standard season with no Euro football and breakeven on transfers.

More worrying it now has us at £5M loss in a EL season with break even on transfers.

Bleak times my friends. Bleak times.

  25. Gerryfaethebrig

    “low battery”

    Aye right!

    A’ that talk about lust a minute ago. . . . .
