CELTIC v ST MIRREN: 5-MINUTE QUIZ

CELTIC played St Mirren three times at Parkhead last season and thumped 11 goals into their net.

This time around, they have had to be content with two after their 2-1 win over the Paisley club in November.

Brendan Rodgers’ side had to respond from going a goal behind to come back and claim three points.

Daizen Maeda scored the champions’ first goal of 2024 when he netted in the early minutes of the 3-0 triumph in Paisley on January 2 as the visitors eased to victory.

The Japanese international was also on target when the holders won 2-0 in the Scottish Cup at the same venue the following month.

How much can you remember about past connections with the Paisley side? Have a go in CQN‘s fun five-minute quiz.

Answers will be provided when the team is announced before kick-off.
