    The Hun Penalty award was NEVER a Penalty as Tillman clearly DIVED.

     

    The Thistle Goalie didnt need to move his feet to save TAVpens Penalty as it was hit straight at him in the middle of the Goal and he just punched the Ball away.

     

     

    The Hun Goalie McGregor HAD to produce two great saves when it was still 0 – 0.

     

    McGregor wasnt happy with Beales decision to allow Thistle to score after Tillman CHEATED YET AGAIN.

     

    Tillman hobbled off at the end…….i hope its serious !

     

    I REFUSE to give any credit to Beale for allowing Thistle to score as his player ” TILLMAN” was GUILTY of Cheating. The Thistle players immediately surrounded Tillman, and he ended up on the deck….he was probably looking for another NON Penalty.

     

    Where was BEALE when Tillman DIVED for the Hun penalty ?

     

    Thistle fans had been given 2,800 Tickets at Ipox…..why do Celtic ONLY get 800 ?

    Fair play to Beale for his sportmanship. Says a lot that his fans have turned on him big time.

     

     

    The difference between us and them is stark, we are quicker, sharper and more inventive, with much, much more goalscoring threat.

     

     

    Thistle were excellent mind, McCall I think is a good manager.

    That said, I found his speculation interesting.

     

     

    So had a quick look at their filing history … specifically for statements of capital following allotments of shares.

     

     

    Have lost count of how many scraps of paper they’ve issued – must be close to half a billion?

    The latest 4.2m allotment this month is their first in a year.

     

     

    Prior to that (are you ready for this?)

     

     

    They had EIGHTEEN separate share allotments in just 17 months between 05-Oct-2020 and 08-Feb-2022.

     

     

    Phil Mac speculates they couldn’t get the fat Raskin deal done while remaining FSR compliant … without new share capital.

     

     

    He may be correct.

     

     

    Even if he is not fully on the money .. there are, IMHO, two key questions to consider.

     

     

    1. Why does a club that raked in both Champions League booty and record transfer fees in the last 7 months need a million quid cash injection in FEBRUARY ??

     

     

    2. What does it say about a club that they’ll take such a desperate course of action just to win the last day of the transfer window?

    The first televised Scottish cup final was in 1955 between Celtic & Clyde. Clyde equalised in last minute when Johny Bonnar fumbled a corner and ball dropped over the line.

     

    I was taken to the midweek replay as a 9 year old for my 1st cup final were we lost 1-0.

     

    A few cup finals later, when I was 19, did I see Celtic win the cup in 1965 with Big Jock as manager.

     

    Thankfully the good Lord has allowed me to see Celtic lifting many cups since then.

     

    And long may it continue.
