    Good morning CQN

     

     

    Used to love American Football when I was a youth but can’t remember the last time I watched the Superbowl to it’s conclusion.

     

     

    Gave up on a very good game at halftime last night.

     

     

    Sounds like it was a cracker all the way to the end.

     

     

    Good coach (Andy Reid) and good players find a way to win.

     

     

    Sound familiar?

     

     

    PS – MOTD2 last night included bookmakers’ odds for manager gigs at Leeds United and Southampton.

     

     

    Ange didn’t feature on either … even as an outsider

    I may be barking up the wrong tree here but…?

     

     

    INSTEAD of the Hun manager allowing Partick Thistle to score to make it 2 – 2, WHY didnt the REF take charge of the situation ?

     

    He could/should have disallowed TILLMANS ” Goal”, then yellow card him for ungentlemanly conduct, and instruct Thistle to re take the Throw In, and then Thistle could have kicked the ball up the Park back to the Huns ?

     

     

    Mickey Beale SHOULD have been taken OUT of the equation, as it was NOT HIS decision to make ?

     

     

    It was funny though, especially with HUN Goalie TRYING yet again to endear himself to the Hun support by, NOT allowing the Thistle player to have an ” OPEN Goal” with his token resistance ?

     

    After making it 2 – 2….WHAT IF Thistle had went on to win 3 – 2…BEALE would have been SACKED QUICKER than Ian McColl ?

     

    LOL.

     

     

    I had Two bets on the game, as I had Thistle to win 1 – 0 at 40/1….which was obviously beat, however I also took the Huns to win by the Correct Score of 3 – 2 at odds of 40/1.

     

     

     

    I had hoped that Partick Thistle would give THEMS a real fright over the piece, and they certainly did.

    BACK TO BASICS – GLASS HALF FULL on 13TH FEBRUARY 2023 7:23 AM

    I used to enjoy watching the SUPERBOWL, but for several years now, I can NOT stay awake so late at night.

     

    I watched the opening of the show for about 3 minutes, and then I switched off and went to bed. I knew that I wasnt gonna be able to stay awake.

     

    Looks like I missed a cracking game.

    There’s a wee typo in my results post from 10.25pm last night. Taylor actually received 8 votes, not 5 which is why he was tied for 5th place with Starfelt. Well spotted, JimmyNotPaul ;-)

    The Commentator on VIAPLAY claimed that TILLMANS ” GOAL” should STAND.

     

    It WAS ALLOWED to stand despite the CHEATING of the Hun Player Tillman.

     

    it was when Beale had called over Tavpen, that Co Commentator McCRAIGEN , suggested that he THINKS that Beale has instruct Tavpen to tell the Hun players to ALLOW Thistle to score…it turned out that he was right….for once.

     

     

    However, Tillmans ” Goal” SHOULD NOT have stood as it was gained by CHEATING. What IF Beale had told his players to carry on playing as usual, with the Huns 2 – 1 up ?

     

     

    As I said earlier, this was NOT Beales decision to make…The REF MUNRO SHOULD have taken charge of the situation.

     

    Would Beale had made the SAME DECISION IF it was against Celtic, especially in a Cup Final…..I seriously doubt it ? So the REF SHOULD have taken control of the situation…. in my opinion.

     

    The Hun REF Munro couldnt wait to give the Huns a Penalty….DESPITE it being a CLEAR DIVE by Tillman.

     

    The Hun REF ALSO allowed Tillmans ” Goal” to STAND…..Despite Tillman CHEATING once again.

     

     

    I am hoping and praying the KYOGO injury will clear up very quickly.

    I wonder what the outcome would have been if Beale made the same decision against us …….or would he have made it ?

     

     

     

    It could have backfired badly for him , just aswell they got the winner .

    If the game had of stayed at 2-2 for the 90 minutes and after ET and the Huns lost it on penalties then Beale would not have made it out of Ibrox alive!
