As a personal favour from someone who has largely enjoyed your input since you started posting-and commented thus-can you please be a tad less confrontational when someone disagrees with you?

Rip the pash out them or summat instead, that way the other poster gets the chance to rip the pash back, and everyone has a jolly good chuckle

(BTW,I know I don’t always follow this excellent advice)

    It’s your choice,of course,but wtf,give it a try-except wi KEV.

    Open season on him,I fear……..

BTW,which park is the one with Queen Anne’s house/huge bath?

  2. Another hurdle successfully negotiated.

St. Mirren were well organised & were dangerous on their infrequent breaks.

It is so easy to say that we were never troubled. Simply would not be true.

That result was still precarious until the Hooper goal.

No matter. Some lovely passages of play from the Young Lions.

    Enjoyed it thoroughly.

    Well done.

Someone suggest a song for Saturday night listening (and quick!) – before this blogs descends into civil warfare for a second week on the bounce!

We all have varying opinions, views…. Lets respect everyone’s angle even if we disagree!

Leave the bickering to Phat Derek and the rest of his Sevconian cheerleading super scumbags!

HH – top of the league, a win today, a win in Scottish cup through the week, last 16 of champions league, a quadruple on the cards (well here’s hoping)

The handball was replayed, so I had the benefit of seeing it a couple of times, his hands were well above his head, not protecting his face, or any other part of his body.

It matters not, we didn’t get it.

The Hooper incident, he was fouled by both players, and like yourself, I was not convinced it was in the box the first time of seeing, but having seen it a few times now, pen all day long, as was the Kayal one, had brother murray thought he had dived, he would have had the card out quicker than a hun hitting the deck.

There was another two hand ball incidents, that IMO, had happened at the other end, they would have been given.

Maybes the powers who be should take the decisions away from the referees.

If the ball hits your arm, hand anywhere on the field, it’s a foul, or if inside the box, it’s a pen.

It would stop the obvious bias.

  5. BOBBY MURDOCH'S CURLED-UP WINKLEPICKERS on

    THE EXILED TIM

Handball apparently has to be deliberate to be a free-kick or penalty-and since deliberate handball is a yellow-card offence…

IMO,the law should read that an offence is committed where a handball is either deliberate,or results in an advantage.

  6. Johnny Russell and Hugh Keevins must have the same agent. It appears he posts on CQN and campaigns every day to get both his charges into Celtic Park.

Really KevJ’s posts are a parody now. I’m beginning to think he’s the new Declan and we are all falling for his wind-up routine.

    Funny stuff. :-)

  7. TET

You have the advantage of me.

I always said that, at the game, you get a better view of the pattern of team play, but you get a poorer view of debatable incidents than those who are able to watch on TV with replays.

I will try to catch the incidents on TV, if the BBC judge that they are worth broadcasting.

Celtic results are on the up- that leaves an infertile ground for the doomsayers and the muckspreaders. They’ll have to content themselves with going oot for a walk.

I have a picture of a wee French poodle being taken for walkies by their owner called Hugh, who speaks with a nasal tone. :-)

  8. SilenceChuckGreenAndTheBrittishMediaPropagandaMachine on

aslong as NL aint running onto the pitch & chasing referees like a crazed loonatic then we should have no problem with him giving the msm his opinion; infact we should encourage it.

if NL dont point out the inconsistensies of murry & his ilk, who will?

  9. good performance which should have been more comfortable and would have been if Callum Murray wasn’t an odious cheat.

  10. Att: 49,321.

    It’s a world record!

    In my head.

The way forward. Lies are truths.

Well….it works for the rest of the world.

  11. SUNNI CAMLACHIE on

Walking home from todays game, i crossed the road at Todd st -Carntyne rd, i was heading up Todd st, the traffic was busy as usual,

i looked across the road, and there it was, a bus full of knuckle daggers, and yep some of them escaped from there mode of transport,

they came across the road, and started to wrap there scarfs around there faces, and started to barging through the Celtic supporters..

the Celtic supporters were mostly young boys with there dads,

glad to say the good ghuys didn’t react…

    They truly are sum..

    Low life magots,

  12. Logged in to catch up after a fine win and some posts have me shaking my head, something’s been festering for a while.

    I smell a rat.

Well done Celtic, well done Neil, well done the fans.

As for the blog, I do too much scrolling these days, Paul’s leaders are still well worth reading, good posters are drowned out by malcontents, agent provoacteurs and people who’s views seem to go against what being part of Celtic is about.

    Sad.

  13. It may be because I have too many miles on the clock, but I was not irate about ANY of today’s contentious decisions. They were all of the ‘sometimes you get them, sometimes you don’t ‘ variety.

I am not in the paranoid section of our support.

Mind you,..I would have given them to Celtic.

    :¬)))

  14. i wish mr richmond would come out and say what he really thinks,

is it legals that are stopping him?that clown kenny clark is well and truly part of the establisment and whats more as the caller said he knows it.

    Splattered the screen :>)))

  16. MWD

Looks like the no 14’s hand ball was not an unnatural position but that was not the incident I saw. The one I am referring to was where a Celtic player cut the ball back fro the by line and the St. mirren player slid in to concede a corner.

Hooper was fouled outside the area.

Kayal’s looks the most clear cut. It does not look like a pre-meditated dive because he thinks he has lost control.

It looks like his feet were swept from under him but I cannot see clear contact. I am judging the Kayal incident as the most likely penalty on your clip as it does NOT look like a dive.

  17. Well an update from my own question earlier

I texted a Polish pal of mine and he likes the look of Milik, raw and powerful and destined for good things, he checked some Polish websites and they seem to have him in Germany getting a medical at Leverkusen right now. When thought about, 3m euros is a whole lot of cash for for an 18 year old and i refer back to Up_Over_Goal’s response to my post.

Still, the guy looks like he’s got some skills from the online videos, but Dortmund, Leverkusen and Stuttgart all seem to think they have him by the looks of it.

Nice to see the papers still good at making stuff up to suit them…….not

  18. Had any of those contentious decisions today been played out in front of an honest referee, we would have got them.

That doesn’t make me paranoid, it make me annoyed that I can see my team getting cheated on an organised scale, and being called paranoid for the privilage.

  19. TET

I wondered how you would view Callum Murray. I thought he was shocking but there was just enough doubt around each incident to allow msm to excuse his decisions.

Late on Sammy got an over the foot tackle that required him to be subbed. Murray was in close proximity yet played on and gave no foul. It is insidious decision making like this that as likely to hurt us as the blatant ones.

Murray in my book has a touch of the dark about him.

Not sure a pasteurised blog would be so interesting, tbh.

Admittedly, some of the comments are over the top,but there is still very little poor language, and even the more aggressive posts are controlled, compared to any other site.

I think the site is fine the way it is,though each to their own. PAUL67 seems to think the boundaries may be getting pushed, but not broken.

Sometimes reading things you don’t agree with makes you think, and check. If we all sang from the same hymn-sheet,we wouldn’t learn much.

Apart from singing-and you DEFO don’t want that as a main topic!

  21. auldheid

What about his decision to play on when Brown was down in their goalmouth with a head injury after he collided with the keeper’s boot?

Incompetence or bias when St Mirren had possession?

    ‘GG

  22. Auldheid

The Sammi tackle I didn’t comment on cos I never saw it, the Mrs had me turn the page of her book for her at the time :>)

They have called us paranoid for as long as I remember, and the older posters remember, and it’s still going on as blatent as ever today.

Why are the club allowing it to happen ?

I honestly thought after the good Dr uttered the four famous words, those days were indeed gone, but alas no.

It’s not as if we are asking for preferencial treatment, though you would think it was by the reaction of the msm.

A level playing field should be the starting point of any sporting event, and as sure as eggs are eggs, we are not getting it in scotland.

  23. Right, fed and thawed out.

We were much better today than recent SPL home games, 3-5-2 suits us just now.

    Callum Murray is a cheat.

Lassad looks good every time he plays, give him more game time please.

Kayal was energetic and effective, the team played well.

The support shown by the whole of Celtic Park when the Green Brigade, then every area of the ground used their mobile phones to show that support was something to behold, well done to all. For those not there I’ll put a video shortly.

  24. Celtic were totally dominant today we played with such energy and tempo a 2 nil scoreline didn’t do us justice we forced St Mirren to play a 4-6 formation or that was probably there intention in any case it was a damage limitation exercise from them a thoroughly energetic Celtic team playing with loads of zest were every player was in attack mode apart from Big Fraser, just a pity such a good a performance didn’t reflect in more goals

  25. Bobby Murdoch

I get what you’re saying, I have learned a lot from the blog about many subjects and like Celtic it’s a broad church.

I count you as one of the posters I like to read.

It’s just some things don’t sit so comfortably and that’s a personal thing, I rarely contribute and scroll by what I don’t like, not views I don’t share, more the baiting and personal stuff that happens more these days. That said I don’t call for censorship beyond my scrolling by arguments and baiting.

When I talk about the things said that are against what our club stand for, I stand by what I say about not getting it, doesn’t sit right, again, personal thing.

    Keep posting man!

    Hail hail.

I notice the resident troll is shouting the odds in the evening now as well.

Obviously, it’s up to individuals how they deal with this character and not for me to tell anyone what they should do.

But I did note the other day when the troll posted a couple of inflammatory lines that were ignored he disappeared sharpish. That may be the way forward. Only saying like.

By the way, what happened to that Hun Sammy that used to come on here?
