Well done to Neil Francis and his Bhoys today.

Griff Bhoy take a bow son and carry on yer scoring next week at the hate factory please.

We are living in beautiful Celtic times, enjoy every second even the stumbles.

  2. Personally I hope Bitton is not anywhere the team next week, as he is a an accident waiting happen. Thinks he is s better player than what he is.

From what I have seen of Elhammed, he is a class player

Over at Ibrox Noise in a parallel universe Barisic is worth £25m cause that’s what KT cost, really deluded😱😵😂👏👏👏

  4. PHILBHOY @ 7:52 PM,

Too true… It’s tough… we get by with a little help from our friends… our family… but when our employerd get it, when society gets it, then there is real progress.

    FAIRHILL BHOY @ 7:54 PM,

Very true. The whole Club should be proud of the way Griff was supported, it should be the norm but it’s not. The way Leigh has bounced back should be a lesson for us all… If works…

Hope we always remember, there may be dark times but you can and we need to pull through.

    Hail Hail

I must owe you a pint next Hoot. Add that to yer list 😀

    🍀⚽️

  6. I mean’t to put Big Tom in the category of excelling Today. I thought he had a cracking game and he looked back to the Real Tom Rogic. I’m delighted to be proven wrong. I thought Leigh was finished and the wee guy is just starting to really motor again now. His 3rd goal was Leigh G saying “Look who’s back.”

Almore all Good here. Respect Bro. Here we go to 9 and hopefully 10 in a row.🥳⚽️🥳🍻🇮🇪

  7. HUNDERBIRDS ARE GONE

    Only kidding!

It would be good to catch up!

There is a HOOT to Belfast on the 19th of June for the weekend.

I could have made that but we are off to Menorca for 2 weeks on the 23rd.

Hope you are good and mibbe see you lan the year.

PHILBHOY-all good mate, absolutely brilliant in fact. But some times I get the doubt and it usually happens at 3/4 in the morning.Im up at 5:30 so it’s bit of a pain 😉

    Enjoyed meeting you 💚👍

My tuppence worth – and it may not even be worth that: –

The elderly are more susceptible to death by infection. Standard seasonal flu disproportionately kills the elderly – usually when they develop pneumonia from it. It might be instructive to compare death rates this year from ordinary, seasonal flu and those from the Corona virus.

What may be cause for concern is that Corona virus originated from a non-human species. The flu that killed at least 50 million a hundred years ago was initially a bird flu. It started off bad then took an even more sinister turn.

The whole thing is shrouded in unknowns. The best case is to follow official advice for as long as it proves sound.

    I don’t sleep great either!

Although I usually sleep better when I have an alcohol free day.

Drink is normally off the menu Monday to Thursday.

Doesn’t do my weight any harm either!

It was great to meet you too!

    Take care.

  11. Cosy Corner Bhoy on

Just popping in to say I had the pleasure of Almore’s company today with an almost full house of CCB offspring (missing being BMCUWP,late of this parish) and as always a gentleman and scholar.

Met many a ‘fine girl’ in bygone days (oops) in Dublin’s Fair City but never a finer gentleman.

Can’t believe someone would choose a 4/11 shot as their nap and it coincided with my numerical choice for my nap!

    I’d rather have a loser than an 11 to 4 on winner😟

  12. Strange game today, we won 5-0 but for long spells we didn’t really look at it. Delighted with the 3 points and we are getting closer step by step. Leigh Griffiths i eat my hat, i did not expect him to come back and contribute as he had done. His contribution to 9 will be long remembered and deservedly so.

Regarding next week, i think Elhamed has to come in and replace Bitton, who it must be said has been excellent of late. Elhamed is a natural defender and positioning will be really important. As for midfield, if fit Ntcham is a must pick ahead of Rogic. Rogic is too much of a passenger in midfield and we cannot carry anyone in the engine room. Griffiths has played his way in and deserves to start. Forrest will probably hold his place as there is no suitable alternative for the wing back role. 3-5-2 for me and 2 changes from today, Ntcham and Elhamed in.

  13. Canamalar it looks like OCD obsession on

For me, only one change from today’s team, ElHamed for Rogic, we need steel next week and unfortunately N’tcham does not provide the while Bitton does. I would rathe see Christie than Forrest for his dig and work rate but that’s very unlikely

  14. next week, presence, mobility, flood the midfield and rope-a-dope

    Fraser

    El hamed Julien Ajer

    Forrest Ntcham Brown McGregor Elyounoussi

  17. CANAMALAR @8:20

Fair enough, I can see where you are coming from but I think Ryan’s been below par recently. There’s not much in it.

I thought the big decision in my team was no Kris Ajer. He’s been an ever present. I just think we can have a better back three without him. Ultimately I think he’ll be our driving force in midfield.

  18. We’ve spent years investing in Kris Ajer as a CH. He ain’t going back to midfield.

He’s doing just fine btw and will play next week along with Julien and big Tam.

  19. I think from middle to front we have it sussed but 2 out of our back 3 leaves a lot to be desired especially when playing against robust spl strikers making elementary mistakes that could lead to goals when playing against better finishers.

  20. Larkin 1907. Love McGinn fae The Calton.

Grew up next to my ain faither. Thanks for that.

The Big Effen Bee was one of his party pieces.

    He was some guy.

Think the 6th was a trophy picked up after wee Jinky tormented the life out of Real Madrid in De Stefano’s testimonial after winning the Big Cup

  21. Scaniel

I’m sure we won the reserve league that year – thought that was the six – but yours is probably more likely.

  22. Neil Lennon (like Broony) will be fae more appreciated once we no longer have them :-)

A few rumours from the very same source (while I self isolated)

New Addias strip is designed by Adidas designer … who is mad Celtic fan fae Dublin abs has been his dream job since the 1980s hence the original hoops and lime green away top and black third kit …

Edouard’s agent is pushing really hard to get a transfer this summer but the Celtic money men are willing to pay French Eddie crazy money to stay for the 10 … with the promise to get his move next summer …

And last but not least Calmac is for staying and his midfield sidekick our captain fantastic is in his ear daily and wants Callum to eventually take his armband when he eventually bows down … Broony could have made more money in the early days but legendary status will be remembered more than the ole cash in the bank

Not sure how many Corkcelts birthdays I have missed but trust me posts prompting a response are just as bad … but at least am not Art of War who walks about the work with either a Sevco teeshirt or these days a Hearts teeshirt … AoW sometimes a “fud” isn’t that bad at least am a fenian fud :-)

Sid … if lurking … do you still expect the Sevs to get 94pts .. “minimum” that would mean 30pts from their last 10 games thankfully you didn’t type what their maximum points total would be

And last but not least …. I always knew the best goal scorer at Celtic Park would get back to doing what he does best … scoring goals

I’ll see Gallaher’s 6.12pm team and raise it by Callum for Taylor and see Oli in the middle alongside Broonie.

Unforgivable if the manager again goes with a powderpuff team.

  24. Sid .. I missed the :-)

As I know I was way off with the Sevs being bottom 6 and you liked to remind me of it … definitely just a wee joke :-)

  25. You may not remember, but I never posted before the game on Wednesday that I thought Hamilton would get something out of their game against the mankies.

Well, I think Ross County will get something out of their game tomorrow.

    Also against the mankies.

  26. Bognorbhoy 9.37pm

If that was to me …. you are 100% correct … no way I was not going to post after Leigh’s treble 🍀🍀🍀

By the way I think Leigh is making Odsonne even better … a terrific strike partnership we are witnessing .. enjoy what we have :-)

  27. The Blogger Formerly Known As GM on

    It’s a funny old game.

Slightly disappointed that Leigh Griffiths seems to be chomping at the bit to play for Scoddland, the SFA and a manger who didn’t stand up for him as Kris Void tore him to shreds on live TV.

I get money is important, but you’ve got to have some self respect.

Same game, different viewpoint. I thought Bitton oozed class and was one of my three for Jobo`s Man of the Match Competition. The other two were Griffiths, Brown, McGregor, Forrest and Edouard :-))
