    So in seasons 2009/10 & 2010/11, Celtic missed out on champions league direct entry because the rotten mob made fraudulent claims on their application. That cost our club 35,650,000 Euro in prize money.

    RESULTS FROM GAME #42 – CELTIC 5 ST MIRREN 0 (GRIFFITHS(3), EDOUARD, McGREGOR)

     

     

    Whilst we weren’t at our scintillating best yesterday, we controlled the game from start to finish, peppering our performance with several memorable moments. And we witnessed our 2nd hat trick of the season with our #9 having his best game for us in over a year. When it comes to Man Of The Match awards it’s almost inevitable that the sponsors will give that to any hat trick hero, as happened at the ground yesterday. However, there were a few other very fine performances and some of the CQN community, myself included, thought that there were 3 even better performers than Leigh. Indeed, 8 of our 10 outfield starters caught they eye of at least one of our voting population.

     

    I understand that online streams of non-televised Celtic Park games are becoming more difficult to find and understandably the number of voters is a little lower than would normally be the case for such a convincing, feel-good resounding victory. But a big thank you as always to the 45 who did manage to cast their votes.

     

    Results are as follows with my own choices asterisked –

    Next up, a High Noon kick off at Ibrox next Sunday against Sevco, aka The Zombies, aka The Doppelgangers, aka Triggers Broom FC, aka The Deady Bears, etc, etc. Kick off for us will take place approximately 187 hours after our last game finished. Sevco’s break will have been 64 hours. Hopefully our performance will lead to the highest number of voters for the season so far – 79 emails required so pass the word around!! And, personally, I hope we let them worry about us rather than the other way around – go 3-5-2 and secure a resounding victory!

     

    Oh and I now get a week away from your admittedly often witty and interesting emails. I hope you understand that I don’t have time to respond personally to each one. But keep your stories and reasoning coming – they are always interesting reading.

    He has NEVER scored against the mighty Celtic and looks likely he never will.

     

     

    Stories of prostitutes and recreational drugs have cropped up from the Klubs winter break in Dubai. So all good then. He will likely leave the klub in the summer for an undisclosed fee.

    Celtic is our we get out … I always wonder what CQN would be like if we didn’t always win leagues & cups

    following on from the announcement that yesterdays game was a sell out and going by the number of empty seats at yesterdays game I think is time that there is a system that if season ticket holders were not attending the home match for whatever reason then they should be able to inform the the club that they are not attending and allow them to sell their seat for the game and that the Celtic foundation could be the beneficiaries if they did

    Petec I just got back fro. Val D,Isier yesterday skiied only 2 days from six due to too much snow, there is literally mountains of the stuff. Will try to return next month.

    We have been exceptionally lucky with our trips to Les Rousses (Jouvencelles) with the snow, it is always a gamble at this time of the year. I got the worst ever sunburn first year we went. At the tap of the mountain (Restaurant/Drink) it was showing 19C – skiing in that heat – absolutely crazy but Quality.

     

     

    I must admit I’d like fresh snow for each day. I know you can’t always get what you want.

     

     

    Up there that high, there is nae way, we will be able to get access to witness the Celts at the Hate factory. :(

     

     

    BTW – over 3.5 goals first half in the Newco Bayer Leverkusen game. 20/1 – on those long odds already.

     

     

    Geneva airport should be a laugh. ;))
