    16 point lead incoming. With the early league wrap-up surely there is plenty of additional time for the Celtic scouting staff to get it right this summer while mopping up a few mis-steps? Seriously, no excuses for this summerwith all the extra time to plan it since as you just know the buns will get hugely in debt to the level of a small Asian economy GDP in order to bring some experienced Engurlund stars to help G-slip or Allerdyce.

    Maybe the joy of Griff being on the cusp of a hat-trick has something to do with it.

    Enjoyable first half. Fair play to St. Mirren, no thuggery & trying to get forward when they get the ball. When you see teams like that coming to Celtic Park you wonder why they are so far down the table.

     

    Thought Forrest did well, some nice touches from CalMac & Rogic. Eddie is always a danger when he gets the ball & is facing goal, the expectancy level rises straight away.

     

    Bitton doing well at the back. Brooney gave away a couple but no harm done,
