I have to admit that when Jamesie lashed that ball in the back of the net I started to cry. That’s what this brilliant phenomenon of a club does to you. Game was shite but we stay with it, we keep going. This is the story of Celtic. This is the story of us. How many times have we been loooked over, sent to the back of queue, been passed over for jobs because your name is too Timmy sounding. How many times have we said don’t leave just yet, this place is magical, this team is splendiferous, this team is ours. God bless you felllow believers all over this green and white world.

Today was all about the post game celebs, though that 94th minute goal was a mighty relief- in many ways.
Today was biggest game of St Mirren season and they played t that.
Ref had a shocker. Comically so at times
Will need to watch back in case I imagined some of his decisions.
Now I’ve seen it all. James Forrest scores in the last minute to make it 16 seasons in a row. Congratulations, Celtic legend. Maybe you could top it with the winner next Saturday.

who the hail do you thank?
Thanks Jamesie for the last umpteen years, calmac for getting it and welling up, the only 50,000 who turned up, the forgotten support staff, the curry chip vans, the turnstile bar 1888 , the cqn and the families of those who have passed.
we don’t change. we won.

Superb performance by the Crystal Palace keeper in the first half. City will probably win though.
On this day of days of happiness, when we witnessed a fantastic and dreamlike end to the game and the league season, we should even at this time never forget the potential impact of the referee, a guy who’s first game at Ayebrokes was lauded openly by fellow Lodge members. THAT is a matter of record!
Apart from the numerous innocuous fouls awarded to the Paisly giants, and ignoring the constant time-wasting, and awarding us fouls when we were moving forward with the ball in to more dangerous areas, what got on my mammaries the most was his CONSTANT interference in our build-up play, right in front of the danger zone near their penalty area. Calmac spoke to him at least twice during the game about it.
Feck him, it didn’t work, but we are now well aware of his arts.

James Forrest terrorises the Aberdeen defence. Should definitely start next week.
The ref was unbelievable. Did he speak even once to their goalkeeper about his time -wasting? Some of the free kicks he awarded to them were down to his imagination…..

Thelin quite rightly condemning the thug who threw the seat which seriously the Aberdeen player.
Wonder when he’ll get round to condemning the thug who crocked a fellow player resulting in him missing the final.

James Forrest Song
He’s electric
He’s spent his whole life playing for the Celtic
He’s done things we never expected
When he’s oan the wing
He comes from Prestwick
And we love him here at the Celtic
His goals are magical and majestic
When he’s oan the wing
And we want him to know
That he’s a Celtic legend
When he’s oan the wing
And we want him to know
That we’ll all remember, like Johnstone, Auld, McNeil and Hay, with Tommy Burns and Paul McStay, like Larsson and McGrory too
