I lived on Arnulls Rd off Beulah Hill, not a hundred miles from you. Didn’t drink much in Streatham for some reason. Used to go the Sainsburys there sometimes.

Ecstatic for James Forrest the legend. One more game for another treble.

Brilliant result from Crystal Palace I have a work mate who will be celebrating all night and very happy for him and his club.

Used to drink in the Horse and Groom myself in the 80s when I live in Streatham Hill.

    Enjoy another trophy day CQN.

  3. may God reward those bhoys ‘n ghirls

    who go to george’s square

despite the suggestions of the chuncil

who sai there is a march

  4. Fair play to Palace. You’d need a heart of stone to begrudge their fans their first trophy.

That said, the decision not to send Henderson off in the first half was atrocious stuff from VAR.

I’d be raging if we seen that standard of officiating going against us next week.

  6. Our manager is class.

Players want to make sure they don’t injure themselves before a Cup final.

Our job is done, not too bothered about the scoreline.

Footie in the sun gives a fan experience tjat winter canny match.

    HH. The journey continues.

  7. Boondock Saint, 4:40, exactly the same for me, I can’t believe how emotional I felt when Jamesie scored. I immediately thought of the Celtic Fairytale and it was just so emotional!! Magic!

  8. Aberdeen defender Jack MacKenzie was left bloodied after being struck by part of a seat – thrown by one of his own fans – amid a pitch invasion following his side’s Scottish Premiership defeat at Dundee United.

Saint Stivs it was a long time ago and I was only there for 6 months. Likely had a pint in yer da’s company. All our house were brickies except for me, I was on the hod, worked on a site at Big Ben.

This was one of the responses to that link:

    Appropriate :-))

    Stuff of dreams for JF.

    Well done him.

I thought he improved us markedly when he came on.

If Luke was auditioning for a starting place next week .. he failed.

A really poor effort from the bench … plus he replaced a guy, Bernardo, who himself wasn’t great.

  12. Back to Basics - Glass Half Full on

I expect the bhoys to be well up for it next Saturday.

Today’s outing – with all it’s frustrations – was no bad prep … if next week gets stodgy.

  13. Back to Basics - Glass Half Full on

    Dickinson? Really poor.

A previous poster was kind to him by saying he spoke to Hemmings once already.

Sad as I am I counted.

In the first 40 minutes he told the goalie to hurry up ….

    … on SEVEN separate occasions.

    Plus the standard

“just fall down, I’ll give you a foul” routine.

    A dreadful referee.

  14. Back to Basics - Glass Half Full on

    Well done Palace.

    Man City are broken.

    Old guys need pushed out.

Rodri needs to come back fit.

    Other jaded players need reinvigorated

Plus three £60-80m purchases (at today’s market rates) needed.

  15. Reporting on the Party from the Media,a disgrace,

“Chaos in Glasgow as flares set off and flags being waved”

” Celtic fans clash with marchers in George Sq..Bottles and cans being thrown at Celtic fans”

“200 Police on the scene”.As opposed to the 500 at the Walk.

    Fekin tramps.

  16. You can bet there will be no interviews shown were all the traders were welcoming the influx.

But, orange cunts, with premises will be screaming we had to shut. These places should be noted and bhoycotted. 😁

  17. Thought for a moment that Eurovision was going to be broadcast from Tel Aviv next year….

but no, Austria was victorious,…… so Vienna here we come….

    ………………

When you worked on the Site next to BIG BEN……..Did you have to ” CLOCK ON and OFF” each day ?

    I will get ma coat.

    LOL.

    HH.

  20. According to the Daily Record the building that some Celtic fans climbed onto ( MERCAT Building ) at Glasgow Cross, has an UNSAFE ROOF.

IF its been SO UNSAFE for years….Why hasn’t Glasgow Council demolished it ?

  21. JAMES FORREST has SURELY played his way into Celtic’s starting eleven for the Cup Final, as his last Two performances against Aberdeen in mid week, and again against St Mirren yesterday, he has been the Man of the Match of BOTH Games.

He has terrorised BOTH defences on Wednesday and again yesterday.

When the wee man scored his Goal yesterday, I cheered so loudly that it may have been heard in Paisley.

I wonder IF Celtic will be offering James Forrest an extended contract, as I think he could play for at least another TWO Years with Celtic ?

I do NOT know when his current contract is due to run out ?

He looks as FIT as ever…..and is getting better with age.

    HH.
