   Celtic dominated 1st half but were unable to take advantage of our superiority or the one on one chances we had against the GK.

    

   Ciftci, Johansen, Armstrong and Forrest all had better than half chances to score.

    

   I expect Ronny was gargling in preparation for his half time talk when Boyata saved our blushes and maybe Ronny’s throat.

   Contrary to the CTV commentary we need somebody to put their ‘foot on the ball’ instead of upping the pace. Comfortable and more goals as Stjarnan tire on the new pitch which looks heavy.

    A far superior side but making it easy for their defense.

     

    Plenty good passing but not in the areas that count.

     

    Still think modern coaches obsession with keeping ball hence low risk passing stifles creativity.

    Hard to sum up the first half.

     

    A ridiculous amount of possession but trying to play through a bottle neck in the middle.

     

     

    We should have more space out wide in the second half and hopefully we will try and turn them from the byeline.

    We played well first half, totally dominant. Created at least 6 good scoring chances unfortunately only converted one. We need to keep up the tempo and we should get another couple. I like Boyata & Ciftci.

    Stop trying to play through ten defenders- go long up to Cifti, get them turning and disjointed – let midfield pick up second balls – also allows ball to be threaded wide and cut back, when they are turning
