More directness, speed and power, finally. With better finishing and some luck it could have been 4 or 5. Their goal was their only shot on target.

Team showed a lot of determination and heart tonight despite the disruption through injuries. Hatate is much better when his head is in urgency mode. Been way too casual of late. Kenny unlucky not to score a couple. Nygren could have had many. Engels delivery is ridiculously good. Sunday will need freshness but maybe we found some mojo.
That shows us tonight that we need a proven goal scorer!!

Good game for Engels tonite
And breath – thought we looked more like Celtic from about 35 minutes- sharper finishing and we are out of sight. Happy with three points, glad I’ve got my blood pressure tablets😀

Agree. Engels not a winger but has a good engine to cover lots of ground gives us a bit more presence in midfield. Hope Hatate kicks off from here.

He’s just not at the grade needed.
I wouldn’t play him on Sunday regardless of Maeda or Iheanacho not being fit.
I wouldn’t start Yamada for such a game so our options aren’t great.
Maybe Balikwisha.

CLUNKS – Scalesy’s finish was befitting a natural goal poacher.
Delighted for the big man; some of his lofted attacking passes were beautifully judged.
Stats keep stating it; our best defender – by a distance.

Showed magnificent character tonight. Losing a wonder goal and two key players early on, great fight back.
Despite the SG fans showing the GB up tonight with constant catchy tunes clearly motivating their team, the Celtic players dug deep and found a way to win.
God only knows how better Dermot/Brendan’s players could do with that kind of motivating support SG have in ambundance.

Well done full team and coaches.
Played with some pace especially periods in first half and worked as hard as I’ve seen them for a while. Loads of solid chances and decent chances on top of that we could have easily 3, 4 or 5.
There was more direct play tonight, some earlier crosses and balls down the channels and the mix up was great to see and it worked for us causing SG problems and it must continue if we want to keep teams guessing. Manager deserves credit for lifting the mood and energy and mixing attacking direction.
Injuries are a worry but a few ice baths and massages over the next few days and off to Edinburgo to turn off the Hertz gas….
There was no lack of fight and effort tonight – that’s important.
Overall, given the unplanned substitutions, that was a decent performance.
Second half we played some fast ball football.
I think Kenny will be a very good player, maybe not first choice for Celtic, but a decent squad member. Likewise Nygren, but not as a winger. Hatate has certainly gone off the ball, hopefully he will come back to what he was.
Donovan will be a player.
We could have scored 7, but a win is a win.

It was a good game. A good performance.
We should have beat them by a few.
Just googled the subs thing
“In a European football match, teams can use up to five substitutes during regular time, made during a maximum of three stoppages in play. If the game goes into extra time, an additional substitute and one extra stoppage are allowed. Substitutions made at half-time or during half-time in extra time do not count as one of these stoppages. ”
So we can make 5 subs but need to double sub twice
As we had 2 subs for injuries that fecked us

Good to be a tim tonight
Well done Celtic, real character to comeback from a goal down and losing two key players so early
Tounekti and Nygren are players who don’t shrink under the weight of the jersey.
They might not be the quickest but they look like the best combination for us right now.
Great game tonight, very proud of our team. Lots of folks stepped up when they needed to! Colby Donovan, what a job young man.
Good performance tonight should have had more than 2..but,a good performance. Hopefully we can get another victory on Sunday ……2-1 would do nicely,
I bet Celtic to win 2-1 @ 17/2. Even at 0-1 the victory was never in doubt as far as I was concerned.
