  1. That was a very disappointing night – the atmosphere before the game was good and expectant.

Valencia were a tough nut to crack but they were not exceptional as a team. Some of our passing was terrible and that flattened the crowd and gave Valencia all the encouragement they needed.

Anyway, I agree with the Dude @ 2:42 wholeheartedly.

Lets just beat Kilmarnock on Sunday with a bit to spare.

As ever whilst Brendan has been the Manager of Celtic, the first 11 will be highly anticipated.

The light show and the Celtic mix before was Good.

Odsonne and Timo coming on gave us a lot more Belief with their play. Not having a Centre mid to come on was not good as that is where we needed a change @ HT, IMO.

Anyway, as I say, lets get the 3 points from Kilmarnock and win this League asap.

Your right mate, pitch looks awful.tonight I was up in top tier, the blotchiness(such a word?) Is evident in patches all over the pitch.i hope we bought that new pitch on a sale or return basis, some work to do there.

How ye? Hope yir good mate.

Good to bump into a rake of old friends tonight,Dena,Ritchie, jamesgang, jobo and fourgreenfields.

Thought tonight it just did not happen. We had a lot of players off form.individually and tactically we were naive at times.Valencias shape was tremendous, springing out in support of each other in attack, becoming tight and impenetrable in defence, they pressed well, cutting our options to teammates and pressurizing us into error.

Bad passing and illpositioning was also our teams downfall

Ah well Killie at cement park,

  13. A CEILER GONOF RUST on 15TH FEBRUARY 2019 1:36 AM

Great tune Mick. The Germans love the fact he did a version in their language. I did the Bowie tour in Berlin and visited the Hansa by the Wall studio where he recorded the Berlin trilogy. The couple were Tony Visconti and his young female friend.

It’s also very interesting to note that the first mass public rally/demonstration in the East leading up to the pulling down of the Wall was caused by Bowie playing in the Concert for Berlin in 1987 (at the Reichstag I think). On the second night around 10,000 East Berliners gathered at their side of the Wall to listen and it developed into a bit of a riot when Bowie okayed “Heroes/Helden” with hundreds being arrested as the police moved in to try and disperse the staff.

The rest, as they say, is history.

I was very proud of the Support I was alongside against Valencia.

When the team was Freshened up we got @ Valencia. I saw 2 dudes return to their seats after heading for the exit. Not seen them there before but Hey Oh , at least they were in a quandry.

  16. TLT there is a rumour Hasslehoff appeared on the east side of the Wall and the East Berliners smashed the Wall down to escape!

    Morning Tims…

Still in a bad mood about last night…

Not because we lost, its because we never turned up against a team that are average at best…

Imho we lost our nerve after an ok start, the fear of losing got to a few.

We had a pop at goal and their keeper spilled it, why o why didn’t anyone else take another one…

    Ach well…
