Not sure what the issue is with the unforced errors. Some inexplicable poor passing especially near our box. Brendan needs to tell the bhoys to calm down. Valencia are a decent team but we are making it just a bit too easy for them.
We are in this game but we can see where are in the pecking order – we can get something tonight but I don’t think we will get through over two legs- but proud of the bhoys in any case.

Good game. Good performance against a superior team. We generally matched them, but Izzy been a weak link all night. He lacks concentration. Was always most likely to cost us.
Still enjoying it. Still would value a win over Killie more.
All our problems are self inflicted. Losing 50/5O challenges & trying to be too clever with passes in the danger area. We have less time & space at this level and we need to take account of it.
We also need a target man to hold the ball up front. Bring on French Eddy, start of second half.
I really don’t understand why we are no world champions and pumpin’ pish like Valencia every day.
Been talking about Burke’s pace all week….1 fkn ball all half…they are not anything special, we are giving them confidence by fkn about at the back,no agression or balls over the top
French Eddy leads the line a lot better than what we’re getting from Burke in my humble!
Too many intercepted passes in their half allowing them to counter quickly, Izaguirre poor at the goal playing them on, they are very good at pressurising us on the ball, Christie needs to do more nothing really for Burke to work off and bring the midfield into it, we need a mistake from them or a moment of magic but we are capable, Sinclair working very hard,cmon Celtic refocus.

When Brown went off the boil it affected our whole system. However we still have had most of the possession – 59/41. Believe it or not, 90% passing accuracy (361 of 403) compared to 85% (198 of 233). Difference is they were clinical with a break on goal.

Terrible goal to give away. Izzy calls for offside, but should have been racing back to cover the final cross.
In general some of our passing is very sloppy. We need to get the ball quicker to the forwards. Far to much overplaying of the ball across the back.
We are not out of tge game, but we need to challenge up front. Christie needs to up his game, hardly in the game.
We’ll need to try and find a cure for the ole Celtic Eurojitters. A comfortable first 15 minutes or so has been replaced by by a ragged , nervy display.
Sinky the only player in hoops who looks capable of doing anything to get us back in the game . Forrest , Burke, Christie sharing a big cloak of invisibility. I would give the fearless young Weah a run at them . Burke better suited to the wing with Edouard inside. Brendan will need to get them sorted for the second half.
God…get real…Valencia.are a good team..

Thirty mins in Toljan loses possession half way line and saunters back.
That won`t do .
Brownie and Izzy have been careless a few times with stray passes, need to sharpen up. Very little space being created from mid to front by us. Thought Forrest could have had a penalty . . .
This is reality tonight. They are a very good team. We are still in this. A quick reply in the second half could easily turn this around.

we have played better teams, created more and put them under much more pressure than we are tonight. Valencia a Europe powerhouse – the difference is team selection. We should ALWAYS start with a recognized striker. Burke is huffing and puffing sin the wrong areas. We need Eduard to hold the ball up and help close the gap in midfield.
I’m amazed we started with that line up!
Also, fancy football at the back not working as we are unable to find the clever pass into the heart of the field – its all too wide and nothing through the middle. Id rather mcgregor sat deeper to give the defense an out in the middle.
