Some very decent footy played against a top quality team, accepted they are a wee bit behind us, but when both teams are in full flow they would prob beat us handy, so am very happy.

Cheers for the goals, on a side note had a wee fiver on Celtic win with both teams scoring at 4/1
I posted contrary evidence to show he was far from uninterested. I called you no nemes.
Uninterested is a lazy jibe in my opinion and rarely applies. Even Mark Viduka, who applied it to himself, did more than enough for Celtic, except in that ICT match.
These pro footballers have had to overcome so much to get to where they have. They put us and other players who did not make it, to shame with their fitness and dedication.
I know when JF or any player has had a bad game and I know when he is being picked on.
On Tuesday night along with 9 of his team mates (I except only Armstrong and Ciftci of those who played) he played badly but was still singled out in a way that was out of proportion to his stinkingness on the night.
Today, he played relatively well (not brilliant- just well) but no-one was crediting him with anything and were deriding his effort when he was less than a few minutes into his game.
BMCUW- James may well leave and I will be sorry to see him go. He has far more talent than most of our players and can be made into a better player. I am hoping Brendan can get him back to where he should be.

Oh,I would so like that to happen, mate.
And let’s face it-it might!
We’ve hailed Brendan as The Messiah. So JF can be our Lazarus.
Thought we were decent today, that being said, I missed quite a chunk of the first half.
James Forrest has a problem to strike the ball cleanly, crossing or shooting, I don’t understand how this can have gone on so long.
Ager looks like a player and Scott Allen did a decent job today.
CMcG could be the surprise of the season however unfashionable a player he might be to the support he knows where the goal is and how to make things happen.
Rogic disappointing again???
We have some decent players at the club with a couple more in and few out we should be looking at a team sooner than later:))

I was not scapegoating as i happen to think he is a very talented player.
I have not seen much evidence of this since Lennon left.
I was hoping to see the spark return with Brendans arrival.
Unfortunately it has not happened.
So far he seems not that interested.
I have defended him many times on here but on the evidence of the season so far i could not.
Maybe he needs to move to rediscover his passion?

Enjoyed watching us with the ball in the first half today thought Armstrong, Griff & Dembele impressed. Without the ball is a different story, lost count at how many needless free kicks our captain gave away & once again we struggled defencively. While we were less expansive in the second half I thought we looked a far better unit. Fasan didn’t have a save to make which kind of tells the story.
Overall impressed with us today hopefully a sign of things to come.
Look forward to it Bobby but I am away in Ireland for 4 or 5 days next week. Hope to meet up with Thom the Tim there.

I think you were scapegoating his effort. We both agree about his talent. I disagree about the lazy/uninterested jibe. However, when injured, and that has happened too often for the poor lad, he is not much use to us. When fit, we have few better. He is no Derek Riordan.
