Brendan will be assessing these dudes and who knows,1-2 or even the three will cut the mustard.

Defo not the “wee yin” these days, taller than her old man (but that’s not that difficult :-) am looking forward to seeing the new bhoys and delighted our “new” manager has returned … think the last testimonial I attended was the maestros against Man Utd, was a cracking night even though you couldn’t see the game as the fog was crazy that night, and could only see the players and ball when they came to your part of the ground

Raining in Clonmel as well.
Enjoyed yesterday, I trust Brendan to bring it all together for us.
My only observation is when I saw Ben McPherson come on , I just thought Kieran Tierney Mark 2.
Not sure what his current contract situation is but I’d like to see Celtic tie him in to a 3 or 4 year contract and loan him out where he will get regular first team Football.

to our Irish supporters who attended the game, and others at Aviva.
How does it compare to coming to Celtic park ? or hampden for that matter.

€50 is a crazy price for a pre season friendly.
Aviva or Lansdowne Road is a nice modern stadium with good facilities and access.

St. Stives: I live a short train ride from the Aviva. Going there doesn’t compare to my trips to Celtic Park. It’s a modern stadium with good facilities.
I gave up my FAI season ticket a few years ago as the quality of the football and the atmosphere had deteriorated badly. Not to mention the John Delaney saga. I was in the singing section (where everyone stood) behind the goal but the singing also became mute.
I paid €120 which got me 7 Ireland matches, the FAI cup final and and a few underage & women’s matches. It was good value.

Cheapest ticket at the Aviva yesterday was €35, not €50. Facilities wise inside the stadium, it’s well designed and an enjoyable day out.
Parking is a non starter. Lived in Lansdowne for 10 years during my fun single days 😄
Enjoyed watching the old stadium come down and the new build go up over the years.

They sprout up that’s for sure, a young lady now I’d guess. Getting my eleven year old Grandson’s rugby boots for the coming season – double the price as he’s mens size eight.
It should be a great night, testimonials are so rare now.
The last couple I went to were long ago as well, Celtic were actually the opposition
Brian McClair’s at Old Trafford, a few legends around that night.
Then Jason Cousin’s at Wycombe Wanderers lot’s of future legends around that night.
Think, this will mean as much to her as the maestro’s meant to you:)

I do appreciate your thought process, however our ” failure” was not scoring enough goals. The ratio of chances to conversions was dire.
Scoring more goals that the opposition is an Ange philosophy. We failed.
But we had the players not to fail.

Jumping on the Joe Hart band wagon for a minute: I have great respect for him as an individual character.
He provided leadership and maturity at a time when the playing staff really needed it.
However in yesterday’s game, Joe showed a lack of composure on several occasions, against a mid table team that didn’t look match fit yet.
I agree with those that feel it’s time to thank Joe and find a replacement.
Years back, May 2008, last day of the season when we won the league beating D Utd in Dundee and the huns were on their way to losing in Sheepdom, watched the game in Muldowneys in Rathcoole just outside Dublin, the bar was choka, we were about a dozen strong watching the game at one end of the bar, the rest didn’t even care who won or anything, Lpool and Utd fans fed EPL pish all the time, sad thing is most were anti brit, yet.
