    it makes perfect sense

     

     

    We scored one goal at home in the CL last season.

     

     

    Only two teams out of 32 scored fewer than us and one of them was the Huns. 83 shots and four goals.

     

     

    We will never get above fourth if we score one goal in 3 games at home. We’ve lost half our total goals now Jota has gone.

     

     

    We should prioritise spending money on goalscoring or creating attackers, especially now Jota who scored half of our goals is gone.

     

     

    Getting a guaranteed better left back than Greg Taylor comes with an opportunity cost that we cant afford

    In every game we played in the CL the opposition scored more or roughly the same as their XG, while we scored less.

     

     

    In every game we played the opposition took their chances better.

     

     

    Our XG was 9.4, we scored 4 goals

     

     

    Against Shakhtar across the two games their XG was under 1, ours was exactly 3. We should have beaten them in both games.

    This was in a far from difficult group. Shakhtar conceded 10 in the group, Red Bull 9 and went on to concede 7 in one game against Man City.

    Enjoy the CL … I think the team performed well last season and enjoyed every game … a bit shoite when we didn’t win any games but that’s called “sport”

     

     

    I actually think we have improved our manager (I loved Ange but we move on) I think Brendan is an upgrade, hope he proves me correct …

     

     

    If not …. Just try n collect more of those trophy things

    Bayern Munich have the same problem only with their RB position..Its being blamed by the fans as the reasons for their recent poor CL displays.More height,more power,better defending needed.

     

    They have bid £ 40 million for Jeremy Frimpong.

    My opinion means heehaw ..

     

     

    Obviously want Celtic to do better in Europe but since the 80s my expectations have been pretty low, a bit insular but am delighted of Celtic keep winning and we have “our” Celtic … never interested in going to the EPL or Euro elite league … I want Celtic to try and beat the financially doped EPL, Juve, PSG or others (the EBTers included)

     

     

    Never a board champion … but sometimes enjoy what we have our fathers and forefathers never witnessed these times ..

     

     

    One day we not win all the time so enjoy what we have

    Just about to land back in Scotland after a 4 day break in Ireland- enjoyed the game in good company in Sean Ogs.

     

     

    I am no surer about how the league will go but I am fairly confident we will beat Ross County at home.

     

     

    I will be at James Forrest Testimonial match to see a Celtic stalwart in his final years with us. He has given me many great moments over the year. I expect that, with the number of wingers we have signed under Brendan, JF will get limited game time. He has earned the right to enjoy more regular game time somewhere else. I hope it’s not with another SPFL team.

    Them or United by the sound of it. Wouldn’t be the only small full back united have signed recently, Malacia is about the height of GT and Jura was on his way there as back up to Diogo Dalot until Wan-Bissaka turned his form around.

    Every Celtic fan wants to success in Champions League and Europa League as a drop down,sobi am sure does every tier4 team in group,to suggest we may finish last again shows complete ignorance of the calibre of tournament we are in (CL),as well as utter ignorance of the gap between Champions League and Europa League.

    What we do need,is a Goalkeeper.With the Croatian still not signed up by anyone,now is the chanceWe have the money,he is available.If not now,when?.Joes last season,might not be a keeper of his calibre,and price available later,or whenever.Its folly,and I think most of the support agree.

     

    A quality keeper is a must to move up a rung,or two.Just do not understand the logic .Hopefully I am being hasty with my criticism,and we sign the guy soon.
