We were written of tonight but our desire was there for all to see & could have won by a couple, welcome back Celtic it was a pleasure
As one of Jozo’s biggest critics I felt he looked the player we thought we bought, great game, mibbees because Croats are no too fond of Riskis lol.

Magnificent #Celtic display.I’m way more than pleasantly surprised that this Celtic team proved to be much better than this grumpy old sod thought likely.Should have had a bigger lead to take to Russia.Unlucky.But the way they bossed Zenit lifts morale on & off the pitch.

That’s more like it. Didn’t see that performance coming. We’ve been ragged over recent months, but that was lovely to watch. Tactically disciplined, really tidy on the ball, rock solid in defence. Moussa returned to form, N’tcham excellent (set pieces apart), Eboue Kouassi great. Whole team great, not least CalMac, who deserved his goal. I think we have got Zenit at a good time. They were tame and I’d be surprised if they don’t have another 50% improvement in them – hopefully not next week. Doesn’t detract from the fact we looked a good team again tonight. Congratulations to Brendan and his bhoys.

Good result in spite of the injuries. Dembele amazing in his line-up play. CalMac great goal for us to remember.
Every player was top marks. Impressive display from Tierney and Ajer in defence.
And kudos to BR for tactical lineup and subs.

Wondered who was getting hooked when Charlie was coming on? Couldn’t really see who deserved to be taken off – nobody under performed.

Really enjoyed that, a fraction more care/quality from final ball and we would have had a 3 goal lead to take to Russia.
Really pleased for the players who have taken some flak, Dembele, Jozo, Cal Mac, Charly bhoy. These guys are all good player’s and fans wanting rid of players after a few bad games shows the critic’s lack of knowledge of the game. Sometimes you have to play players through bad patches of form when you know what their capable off.
Three points on Sunday and im back to a happy bhoy.
P.S. Edourd I like this kid has talent.
