FORMER Spurs defender Reto Ziegler has revealed Celtic have offered him a contract.
The 31-year-old’s contract with Swiss outfit FC Sion has expired and he insists the treble-winners are interested in signing him.
Spain’s Real Betis have also been linked with the player with Ziegler currently assessing his options.
He admitted: “The offers from Celtic and Betis are an honour for me.
“But, without wanting to sound snooty, I think I deserve it, I’ve had a good season.
“I am getting married at the weekend and if I moved to Scotland, she would want to move abroad again with me – I hope!”
The Swiss international spent three years at White Hart Lane between 2004/07, making 24 appearances.
Ziegler has also played for Juventus, Fenerbahce and Sampdoria.
