CELTIC WATCH DOUGLAS

CELTIC are eyeing a move for former Dundee United left-back Barry Douglas, now playing for Polish outfit Lech Poznan.

The defender, who moved to Poland from Tannadice in 2013, has caught the eye of Ronny Deila after an impressive season.

Deila is understood to have travelled to watch his target in action as he looks to strengthen his squad ahead of the Champions League qualifiers.

Douglas still has a year of his contract to run and is valued at £500,000 by the Polish side.

Deila has also been linked with Willem II full-back Mitchell Dijks as he searches for cover for Emilio Izaguirre in the problem No.3 position.
