‘CELTIC WILL BE DIFFICULT,’ ADMITS BAYERN ACE

BAYERN MUNICH full-back Joshua Kimmich admitted his team-mates are in a confident mood before tomorrow night’s Champions League clash with Celtic.

However, the star defender insisted the German giants will not take anything for granted against the Hoops.

Kimmich said: “Celtic will be difficult opponents. They had a very big result against Anderlecht and they will now think they have an opportunity to qualify.

“We want to finish above Paris Saint-Germain, but Celtic are in the fight as well.

“They will believe they can progress from the group, but if we can win the two games, we will be in a strong position.

“I don’t now too much about the Celtic players, but the manager will do the analysis before and we know Brendan Rodgers is a good coach.

“They will press the game and play on the counter-attack, so it will be difficult for us.

“However, we are aiming to win the game and take a step closer to qualification.

“These will be two good games. I am looking forward to going to Glasgow, as everyone knows the atmosphere there is special.”
