CELTIC’S £1.5million misfit striker Shin Yamada has agreed a short-term loan deal with German second-tie club Preussen Munster.
The Japanese frontman, who was recruited from Kawasaki Frontale on a four-year contract in the summer, has failed to score a solitary goal in his 11 appearances for the Hoops.
Yamada made only one start – in the 3-0 win over Livingston at Parkhead in the fourth game of the season in August.
He had a brief cameo as a substitute for Johnny Kenny in the 2-0 Scottish Cup victory over part-time Auchinleck Talbot at Rugby Park nine days ago.
The misfiring marksman is joining a side battling relegation as they sit fifteenth in the 18-team division, according to a report in the Scottish Sun.

TOO LATE…Shin Yamada is denied by Jack Butland during a rare first-team appearance in Celtic’s goalless draw at Ibrox in September.
Yamada’s countryman Hayato Inamura, who also arrived in June in £350,000 switch from Albirex Niigata, has also left the champions in this transfer window.
The left-back, whose only start also came against David Martindale’s club, has returned to his homeland after sealing a loan with FC Tokyo.
Celtic have been struggling for firepower throughout a turbulent campaign and Czech Republic international forward Tomas Cvancara arrived on a temporary switch from Borussia Monchengladbach last week and made his debut in the 2-2 draw with Hearts at Tynecastle on Sunday.
Former Manchester City and Leicester City hitman Kelechi Iheanacho joined on UEFA deadline day in September after being released by Sevilla.
The experienced Nigerian international is currently struggling with hamstring problems and has not been seen since limping off in the first-half of the Hoops’ dismal 3-1 Premier Sports League Cup Final loss to St Mirren at Hampden in mid-December.
