CELTIC’S 14-GAME MAKE-OR-BREAK SCHEDULE

CELTIC kick off a hectic schedule of FOURTEEN games in TWO months when they take on St Mirren at Parkhead this evening.

Brendan Rodgers’ side will face three crucially important Champions League Group E encounters – two away from home – before they reach the turn of the year.

The Hoops, with just one point after three matches in Europe’s elite competition, travel to Madrid on Tuesday for the second of their double-header against Atletico after the 2-2 draw in Glasgow a week ago.

A LOT TO PONDER…Brendan Rodgers answers questions at a media conference.

Next up, is a trip on Tuesday November 28 to Rome to take on Lazio, stoppage-time victors at Parkhead last month, and the section comes to a halt when Feyenoord, who won 2-0 in Rotterdam, visit on Wednesday December 18.

On the domestic front, Rodgers’ side face 10 Premiership games – six at home – before they take on Philippe Clement’s Ibrox team in the final league outing of 2023 in the east end of Glasgow on Saturday December 30.

A spectacular volleyed goal from Kyogo Furuhashi claimed the points for the champions in September in the first Glasgow derby of the campaign.
