SEVILLA are poised to step up their interest in Celtic misfit Luis Palma, as CQN initally reported earlier this month.
The Spanish side have been impressed by the Honduran international’s performances at Lech Poznan during his season-long loan.
Palma, who cost £3.5million when he joined from Greek club Aris Thessaloniki in August 2023, played a starring role in the Polish outfit’s title win, scoring 10 goals and providing six assists in 31 appearances.
Fallen giants Sevilla only escaped relegation from La Liga by a single point and are now looking to strengthen for the new season.

UP, UP AND AWAY…Luis Palma skips past a challenge from Ryan Astley in the 3-3 draw at Dens Park on January 14 2025 – one of the Honduran’s last appearances for Celtic.
Palma, 26, who has two years to run on his Hoops contract, is on their radar and there are reports the champions do not expect to receive an offer for their flamboyant wide Bhoy that will match their initial transfer outlay.
Palma spent the second half of the previous season in Greece with Olympiacos, but they didn’t take up the option to make the switch permanent.
He stated recently he would like another crack at becoming a success at Parkhead, as CQN reported.
He admitted: “I want to have a second chance, I have a contract with them, I’m still part of the club and if they say I have to return, I’ll do it in the best way possible.
“My dream is to return to a high-performance league; for me, the Scottish league was a high-performance one.”
Now Sevilla and Lech Poznan could be ready for a transfer tug-of-war for Palma who appears to have no future at Parkhead.
