The last Lisbon Lions last game shows the pinnacle of this great club and where we will always strive to be again one day! I was at the game and remember it with great memories!
What did strike me about it though was the rubble and building material all around the old stand and track! nae chance of a game going ahead in conditions like the in this modern era!
*due to this scenario we had played on the Thursday night/ against the team which years later would dodge the bader bullet, at hunden a game in which we clinched the League and I was at with EDB’s wee brother, we offered the bully wee tae play it at Shawfield which they turned down seemingly in hope of a bigger share of our gate if which was the norm back then. So we went out and humphed them in a nothing tae play for game that day
