CELTS IN PERTH SWITCH

1

CELTIC’S Premiership match against St Johnstone in Perth has been rescheduled for a second time.

The match was originally set to take place a week tonight, with a starting time of 7:45pm. The kick-off was then pushed back 15 minutes to accommodate live coverage from Sky Sports.

However, it has been switched again with Neil Lennon’s men due to play Sarajevo in Bosnia on Thursday in the Europa League play-off.

The Hoops booked their place at the next stage when they overcame FC Riga in Latvia last night with substitute Mohamed Elyounoussi getting the last-gasp winner.

The game at McDiarmid Park will now take place on Sunday October 4.

The match will still be shown live on Sky Sports and will kick off at 12pm.

The last time the Hoops played at the ground on March 1, a free-kick from Ryan Christie gave them a 1-0 Scottish Cup win to set up a semi-final meeting with Aberdeen which will now be held later this season, due to the coronavirus pandemic lockdown.
