CELTS IN SAINTS SWITCH

CELTIC’S Premiership fixture against St Johnstone at Parkhead has been switched to Wednesday, January 30, with a 7.45pm kick-off.

The encounter was originally scheduled for Sunday, December 2, but the Hoops will be playing Aberdeen in the Betfred League Cup Final at Hampden on that date.

The change has been confirmed and further details for the match will be announced in the New Year.

Brendan Rodgers’ men have already beaten the Saints twice in Perth this campaign – Leigh Griffiths getting the only goal of the Betfred League Cup quarter-final in September and James Forrest firing in four in a 6-0 romp last month.
