There is a realisation that the information issued by Craig Whyte last week is only the beginning of what promises to be weeks of salacious details. Ownership of Ibrox, Murray Park and other assets purchased by Sevco 5088, a company which Charles Green signed a Companies House form for on 27 December 2012, but which Craig Whyte claims to be a significant interest holder in, is in doubt.
This matter could take weeks to play out and months, or longer, to settle. The evidence provided thus far is interesting but courts are notoriously more concerned by paperwork than recorded conversations. If Craig Whyte has paperwork to back his claims he will feel by far the more comfortable of the two parties.
Of more immediate concern will be what Cenkos Securities knew. Cenkos were the Nominated Advisors for Rangers International’s recent Initial Public Offering and Newco’s directors would have been required to inform them of any claim over assets, no matter how spurious or disputed.
City Regulators move quicker than the courts and will want early information on when Whyte’s claims were made, what was revealed to Cenkos and how the board minute-d these matters. Keep your eye on this one.
Having used David Longmuir to get at SFL clubs in an attempt to sink league reconstruction plans Charles Green, who has made no secret of his opposition to them, turned to St Mirren chairman Stuart Gilmour. Gilmour, who was incandescent with outrage last year when SFL clubs refused to make a space in their top flight for Newco, plans to acquiesce.
He should reconsider before the St Mirren board meet to discuss this on Wednesday.

We all know that the huns are a semi-literate rabble, with atrocious spelling and only a rudimentary knowledge of grammar and the proper use of punctuation and upper and lower case.
They are also delusional.
HH!!
Regan must be taken to task on pursuing Challs, over his lies re Whyte whilst begging for the huns licence. He said on numerous occaisions he had never met him.I’m sure our intrepid Lapdogs are on the case…….
Of topic Bhoys but this is my local primary school and where all my kids went. Any chance to sign the petition would be grateful. As it says only Catholic school in the area and ending 150 years Catholic education if this goes ahead. Strangely the non- denominational school was saved, so we will have 3 non-denominational schools and no Catholic school. Shocking.
Thank you.

I think it is becoming clear that the rules were bent out of shape to give them a licence, that lot shouldn’t even have the dug licence for Durranty..

“Is that Jim Duffy the Jim Duffy that used to play for us”
If you count zero 1st team appearances as having played for us, then yes.
Morning fellow Tims,
What time are the post split fixtures announced at today?
This Irish Bhoy needs to book flights for 1st game post split, regardless if its Home or away.
For what its worth, I’ve a feeling they’ll give us a home game.
Hail Hail

I see on the Scottish Sun that Super Ally can’t wait to spend the £10m Charles Green promised him.
The naivety is heartbreaking. I understand he was also promised a pony and a trip to EuroDisney. (thumbsup)

My take on it is that Green gave him a Euromillions ticket……
Michael
Correct!
Jim Duffy made ZERO appearances for the Celtic first team during an illustrious career with us.
HH!!
Sally also pointed out that he wouldn’t be able to spend anything at all till January next year.
Sounds like “Rally round,berrs-buy yer season tickets. I know the team’s utter pash, but wait until January and you see the superstars I have lined up”
Brian Jacks was unavailable for comment………..
Michael, Tallybhoy – I knew that, honest! I was just trying to establish that he was being an INCREDIBLE fud. Thanks for the confirmation.
mighty tim – Scottish local authorities seem increasingly hostile to Catholic education. You can see it in their decisions both big and petty – from shared campuses to removing the link between Easter and the Easter holidays.
Not, I think, out of sectarian bigotry, but out of secular anti-religious bigotry – part of a larger national trend where the political and media class has come to see its role in terms of imposing its politically correct will on society – see also the assaults on Catholic adoption agencies and the gay marriage crusade that almost nobody in the public at large was clamouring for.
If the Church wants to save Catholic education the time may soon come when it is forced to return it to the private sector. (thumbsup)
In principle I’m against the 12/12/18 league reconstruction plans. They are literally just nonsense. League reconstruction requires further investigation and some professional external consultation from some of the better ran leagues in Europe before a final proposal be put to all clubs to vote on on merit rather than there being no other better option available. 12/12/18 will be further progression towards sub standard Scottish football. It has been poven to be a failure in the past in other European League/s.
I’d be happy to see the proposal kicked into touch on its own merits.
But as we all know that is not the case here!!!
SPL2 & Save Sevco anyone!!!
If so. I’m out!

Cheers mate. I was saying on Saturday to 4GF and Lionsroar67 that this wee toon would give Larkhall a run for its money on hunnery.

Hee hawing and laughing at that one, got to be one of the funniest send ups of the Sevco Circus..
Philvis – Leeds City Council removed the link from East and the Easter hols for all schools a couple of years ago so it’s not just Scotland.
When the dates are right we can book a cheap holiday abroad before anyone realises the kids are off.

That’s nothing-in Kilwinning, all the plod are in attendance INSIDE!
Good luck with it-and I hope to see you again on the 27th!
Either Duffy’s on something or that piece has been written for him by Chris the bigot Graham.
I see Philvisreturns has finished reading the Daily Mail editorials and started posting. There must be a new article coming …
Watch now for the SPL2 the only game in town now” stitch up coming to a door near you .and “by invitation” of course..look like Challs tie wearing visit to St Mirren Park worked a treat.
Shameful.

It brought a laugh out loud moment to me aswell :))

Stay well my friend
Is it the current members of the SPL who will have a vote to set up an SPL2 and in that case is 11-1 also required.
Mort
Anybody else see the tweet about Durrant greetin about the death of Newco in the back of a taxi?
Moonbeams – I suspect reconstruction won’t be voted through this year, and by next year interest will have largely faded given that by the time any changes could be introduced (season 2014/15) sevco will probably be only one promotions away from a return to the SPL.
Regan and Doncaster may labour on with some other annoying reconstruction suggestions as a vanity project.
Let their mantra be “I’m doing it because I said I’d do it”.
tomtheleedstim – It’s a sad trend. I can’t think of what was wrong with having Easter holidays around Easter. (thumbsup)

Rangers are no strangers to the two men in a boat scenario.
Indeed,I think Puzo and Coppola got one of the plotlines in The Godfather Part Two from a perusal of their murkier past.
If I was Craig Whyte,I would be staying well clear of water. It will help him prove his hun credentials too!

I hate using the LOL thing, as it’s overplayed…. not so in that pic so simple yet sooo soo funny – I’m still laughing
Are we worry about them gettin a leg up for nothing? I’m sure I read that UEFA do not allow clubs without 3 yrs liscence to participate in the top national leagues, also is it not the case that teams can only move up leagues on merit?
Mort,
Sounds right – they would need to change the mem and arts to increase the number of members for a start. Then set the rules for the SPL2 and promotion/ relegation between it and SPL1.
Could it all be done for next season? Does a draft set of plans already exist, to be wheeled out when needed?
philvis
