CELTIC MAC
Willie Fernie was a fantastic player. In my first season at Celtic I played on the right wing and when the ball was passed to Willie he’d do his wee shuffle as if he’s passing the ball to me. I’d run down the wing and the fullback would follow me. Willie would stroll away the other way unmarked. A great player and a nice guy as well.
Willie didn’t like quite a few of the players. He didn;t drink or smoke and didn’t that these other players should be doing it. He wanted better for Celtic. A nice, all round guy and Celt. His wife was the receptionist at Celtic Park for a long time too.
OUT OF ORDER!!!!!
Shouting on Chelsea oan ere….blogs gone to dogs :O)
Things you won’t hear after tonight “aye but Leicester will fall away”

cheers for the reply Charlie ..
book purchased so will read your scouting exploits..
forward scouts don’t think there is any ,nor forward coaches .. :-))
Marvellous to hear your personal reminiscences of players who were legends in my youth.
Willie Fernie , Bobby Collins and then there were some we never seem to hear about.
Eric SmIth had some great seasons. Big B.P. My personal favourite Big John Colrain.
All provided us with some hope in the days before Jock.
That’s me for the night. Before I go can I say a few words to El Diego Bhoy.
I have signed a book for you with a wee special message and I hope that you will be able to enjoy reading it.
I wish you all the very best and I hope that something turns up that will help you. You will be in the prayers of Celtic supporters everywhere. You will never walk alone.
God bless you and all the Celtic supporters.
Thank you all for having me on your website tonight. I have enjoyed the evening. Thank you for the support you all gave me while playing for Celtic. It is nice to have people remember me.
Good night and god bless the Celtic.
Well done Leicester

Shame game at Chelski
Charlie a true Celt – nice :-)
Murray’s Rangers put paid to a lot of teams, tried to spend what they didn’t have, that other mother f Masterson, should have been jailed,
Although I’m quite happy Leicester are champions I can relate to playing against a team with nothing to play for who carry the ball into the corner to waste time. I have no gripe with what Motherwell done to us that’s the game, however,Kilmarnock losing heavily and running the ball into the corner? I wish that team nothing but misfortune.Congratulations Leicester.
Charlie Gallagher, Celtic Legend! Great replies tonight. Well done CQN for organising!
Great night, enjoyed Charlies honest and interesting replies.
Huge congratulations to Leicester, a magnificent achievement.
HH Dan
That was great Charlie,thanks
When I stayed in London I was a spurs fan, went to all the home games
But feck it,cmon the foxes
HH
Has John Terry got his Leicester kit on yet?
Classy gesture from Charlie Gallagher there.
I don’t have much interest in the English game but Leicester’s achievement is a fine one. Could not bring myself to cheer the current Chelsea side- a charmless bunch of divers and fakers- just like the two Hearts players on Saturday- Oshinewa and Juanma
Just came on a read Charlie’s message to El Diego Bhoy – a beautiful post and gesture.
Thoughts and prayers with EDB.
Less importantly well done Leicester.
Charlie Gallagher , thanks for your time tonight . Celtic legend and top man. HH
BT.just read what CHARLIE said about your DA.surely a bottle of malt????
I went to see an acupuncturist and ended up popping my inflatable snooker stick.
mark selby snooker champion wont be the main news in leicester tomorrow ….
Well done, Charlie Gallagher, a truly great striker of the ball. A class act. And well done Leicester. Ref, the great Mark Clattenburg lost the plot tonight. Astonishing that there were no red cards. Should have been 3 or 4. And well done the Hoops and travelling fans on Saturday. Still drooling !
Charlie,
It used to really annoy me when the press referred to you as Gallacher.
Gallagher isn’t it.;-)
Donegal to the core..

What a gentleman
Charlie Gallagher
Really sorry that I missed you.
Absolutely delighted at two things.
Firstly, that Parkheadcumsalford got to speak to you after his many posts in praise of you.
And secondly, your final post to Eldiegobhoy. A post which epitomised your class and compassion.
Thank you Charlie.
On other news some of you will need to keep the 7th July free next year!!!
MIKE IN TORONTO from last thread
Bitton is the best passer in our squad. says you.
I felt i was being harsh on Bitton so decided to collect his first half stats with my own eyes against Ross county.
He made 9 forward passes but only2 connected with a Celtic player.
10 backwards and 4 sideways.
Thats hardly a ringing endorsement.
Charlie thank you. Enough said. God Bless you.
Ladbrokes paying out to 47 punters who backed Leicester at 5000/1.
Damn it! just wakened over here and missed Charlie.
Ah well i’ll ask him all my questions when he visits the rebel
