Lots of speculation over the weekend that we’ll see Craig Gordon in goal for Scotland and Fraser Forster in for England tomorrow night. I’m claiming the two of them as ‘ours’. Big Fraser was a great Celtic goalkeeper and professional. He deserves one last curtain call on the pitch that made him.
I see Dick Advocaat completed his work with Serbia in less than half a season after their home defeat by Denmark on Friday and is now available for employment elsewhere. The Serbs have carried some hurt after Denmark made-off with Euro 92, when one of Europe’s great teams were denied their stage by civil war. The Danes were famously on the beach after being eliminated from the qualifying rounds by Yugoslavia before war in the Balkans opened the door for them to compete in, and win the tournament.
The last thing Serbian football fans deserved was to have Advocaat lead them. The Dutchman left us with so many great memories.
Do you have Craig Whyte holed up in a safe house, as the formerly advertised Motherwell-born billionaire remains at large after a warrant was issued for his arrest on Friday? If not, he’s perhaps gone feral and living in an outbuilding.
Check your shed, look behind the bins. It might be an idea to leave some food out for him. He may be disguised, there is no guarantee he’ll be wearing his Celtic scarf and Burton’s apparel, so stay alert.

These guys must have thought they would be bulletproof, with “the fabric of Scottish society” protecting them…
If the hunbigots are liquidated again, will they morph into rangers, whichever suits the third or turd.
I’ve always believed David Murray to be as slimy as an eel and would screw anybody he can in order to make a buck! Rest assured, he’s the main culprit in all that’s going on at the bigot dome, as sure as Dolly Parton sleeps on her back!

I can only surmise that some independent investigations were getting too close to MIH that the Scottish judiciary have stepped in to make some sacrificial succulent lambs.
No one is going to jail for the ultimate corruption of a sport. More corrupt in Scotland than even the global scumbags FIFA!

I think The Earl Haig Fund was amongst the creditors on the Stiffed List
Wondering again why i bothered coming on SevcoQuickNews. Not sure why an article on a team currently 2nd in a lower division merits such coverage. Perpetuating the old firm myth. The obsession continues. Id rather never play or even speak of again but clearly some cant live without.

==================
I think the word LITIGATION will loom so large to such an extent that football would be best served dumping the toxicity which is both TRIFC and those at the SFA or SPL who failed to do their job as in apply the rules intended to protect the integrity of the game.
It would require complete reform at the SFA introducing transparency and accountability and a change in the relationship between SPFL and SFA with roles and responsibilities clearly defined.
Alternatively a start could be made asking the FA to take on the role of the SFA in governance terms, leaving a rump to look after International football.
The changes might also include a club called Rangerssomething starting at the bottom again really anew but on ethical terms set by the ethical governance established above.
However whether football is clever enough to see this as a way forward is entirely another matter. Chances of it happening under Ogilvie and crew are zilch.
I wish I could be there when the police finally catch up with Craig Whyte, if only to hear him utter the words, “Ye cannae arrest me. Canamalar says ye don’t have an arrest warrant.”

While I can understand your sentiments it is only natural that we want justice. We have a massive interest in this like it or not.
We have been lied to, cheated, suffered injustice for many a year and now possibly there is a glimmer of hope that the truth will out.
Hopefully the domino effect will kick in and the whole house of cards will tumble on the biggest corruption and disgrace in British sport.
HH to you.

When they realise there going to barlinnie I’ve a feeling the full story will be told, they don’t seem like jail types to me so they’ll do anything not to meet big Leroy :-) HH
So The Earl Haig Fund was not a creditor, Apols to any hunlurkers. Now was there not a sevco scam that they were selling poppied replica shirts to the gullible and pocketing the cash.
Thought Wayne Rooney was brilliant.
maybe I have picked the journalist up wrong,
but I got the feeling he only asked about Ibrox as a point of balance,
and it came across as a wasted, pointless, childish, question,
The police are baffled as to the whereabouts of that international man of mystery, Craig Whyte. In other news, the Muppets have announced the release of their latest Christmas blockbuster.
Oops.
