JAHMAI SIMPSON-PUSEY has seen his season-long loan at Celtic from Manchester City scrapped and is now heading for Germany.
The highly-rated 20-year-old defender played just 64 minutes in his time at the champions in the 4-0 win over Kilmarnock at Parkhead in November.
Simpson-Pusey came off the radar when Wilfried Nancy arrived early last month and Pep Guardiola recalled the right-back or central defender to The Etihad.
The youngster is now on his way to Cologne on a short-term contract until the end of the season.

ON THE MOVE…Jahmai Simpson-Pusey on the ball in his only Celtic appearance as the champions beat Kilmarnock 4-0 at Parkhead in November.
Although JSP hardly got a look-in at the Hoops, there was a lot of interest in him from English Championship clubs, but the versatile performer is poised for the Bundesliga with just the formality of a medical before the switch is rubber-stamped, according to the Scottish Sun.
The top prospect played six games across all competitions for City last season, including two in the Premier League and another two in Europe.
Guardiola is keen for JSP to get crucial game-time and he will get that at the German club who are sitting eleventh in the top flight with just four wins in 15 games.
