Christie and the congested central mid

375

The creative central midfield position is heavily congested at Celtic. Rom Togic and Stuart Armstrong are both enjoying landmark seasons, leaving Ryan Christie feeding off injury scraps. It’s not ideal for a player with over 100 top flight appearances under his belt.

Four months at Aberdeen would be ideal for the player’s development, and would perhaps arrest Aberdeen’s slide this season.

I wonder if Leigh Griffiths would fancy a wee sabbatical in Aberdeen? Just for a break.

Other than that I really don’t know what to say, accept that I will be doing it pretty much on a daily bases if that’s ok with you, phhhffftttt,

Then again maybe I should just wait to see what you think the subjects I should post on? Would that work for you?

Ryan Christie joins Aberdeen on loan until end of season

By: Newsroom Staff on 24 Jan, 2017 19:42

RYAN Christie has joined Aberdeen on loan until the end of this season. The 21-year-old joined the Hoops in September 2015 from Inverness Caley Thistle, although he spent the first few months on loan with the Highland club.

He made his Celtic debut against St Johnstone last January in a 3-1 victory at Celtic Park, coming on as a late substitute for Stuart Armstrong, and he has gone on to make 13 appearances for the Hoops, scoring two goals.

Everyone at Celtic sends their best wishes to Ryan during his loan spell at Pittodrie.

    What Canamalar said.

Watched a few games in there when in corralejo. Just off the top of the main drag, flies scottish flags.

Best Celtic bar in Corrie is Murphy’s irish bar but they don’t have Celtic tv. An Caisteal does.

  10. I will be watching the game tomorrow on CTV.

I think it would be a great gesture, from those lucky enough to be there, to do ‘The Broony’ in the 8th minute as a sign of how much we appreciate our Captain’s 400th game for Celtic.

Hopefully The Green Brigade has something up its sleeve.

  12. FAIR HILL, think I see what you are trying to point out about some posters, not necessarily TD, who hog the site and waffle on, even using it as some sort of alternative to their own email or Facebook or whatsapp, etc. Eg , did you get my message ?!; will email you !; hope to see you before/ after game; did you get my email !; hope Celtic win the treble and go unbeaten all season (that’s my contribution).
