RYAN CHRISTIE has joined Odsonne Edouard as a doubt for the visit of Steven Gerrard’s Ibrox side in 10 days’ time.
The Scotland playmaker has been forced to self-isolate after international team-mate Stuart Armstrong tested positive for coronavirus, according to a report in The Guardian.
Ex-Hoops star Kieran Tierney has also been ordered into cold storage after he and Christie were identified as close contacts of their former Parkhead colleague.
If the Celtic midfielder is ordered to quarantine for 14 days he will sit out the Glasgow derby which will see the Govan outfit arrive in the east end of Glasgow with a one point lead over the champions who have a game in hand.
Edouard tested positive for Covid-19 with the France Under-21s, as CQN reported earlier today.
Armstrong, Christie and Tierney will all be sidelined for the Euro 2021 semi-final against Israel at Hampden tomorrow night. They will also miss the Nations League ties against Slovakia on Sunday and the Czech Republic a week today.
Armstrong was confirmed to have the bug during routine UEFA testing last night. The remainder of Steve Clarke’s squad returned negative results,
