CIFTCI, BAILLY CLOSE TO DEALS

NADIR CIFTCI will complete his move to Celtic in the next 24 hours after the SPFL champions agreed a £1.5million fee with Dundee United.
The 23-year-old striker was in Glasgow to discuss his move and is expected to undergo a medical while goalkeeper Logan Bailly was also in Scotland finalising his transfer.
The Belgian goalkeeper was at Lennoxtown and the 28-year-old shotstopper is expected to complete a £250,000 move from Leuven – as CQN Magazine revealed yesterday.

Ciftci followed him in the door and is expected to become Ronny Deila’s fourth signing of the summer transfer window after the Tannadice side gave permission for the forward to open talks over a move.

Ex-NAC Breda striker Ciftci is in the final year of his current United deal and could miss the start of next season if he is found guilty of biting an opponent in the final Dundee derby of the season.

The player has been called to a disciplinary hearing by the SFA where he will defend himself against allegations of biting Jim McAlister. The judicial panel will sit on 20th July and if the charge is proven a lengthy ban is possible.

The Turkish ace has been at Tannadice for two seasons and has scored 33 goals for the club.
