CIFTCI SCORES AGAIN

CELTIC’S £1.3million misfit Nadir Ciftci scored again as Eskisehirspor beat Galatasaray 4-3 today.

The on-loan former Dundee United frontman returned to striking form after being banned for three games following a straight red card in his second match for the Turkish outfit.

Ciftci, who will remain in Turkey until the end of their season, looked back to his old self as he netted and played well in the thrilling seven-goal Super Lig clash.

His club are fighting relegation and the win was crucial with the controversial marksman displaying quality in front of goal to sidefoot in his effort at the back post.

Ciftci has insisted he has a future at the SPFL champions, but managed only four goals in 22 appearances after joining the club from Tannadice in the summer.

Hoops boss Ronny Deila has replaced him in the attack with his January signing from Feyenoord, Colin Kazim-Richards, who played a cameo role as a replacement for Leigh Griffiths in the 3-1 win over Hearts at Parkhead yesterday.
