‘CLASS ACT ARMSTRONG’

NEW Bhoy Stuart Armstrong will be a class act at Celtic, insists his former Dundee United skipper Sean Dillon.

The Tannadice defender watched the 22-year-old midfielder’s progress over the past six seasons and reckoned it was only a matter of time before he moved on to bigger things.

He said: “Stuart has got a lot going for him. He’s strong physically and possesses a scary turn of pace.

“He’s an intelligent guy off the pitch and he has developed and learned a lot in the last few years.

“The amount of stuff he has added to his game from what he already achieved has allowed him to continually improve from the time he was brought in.

“I’m just delighted for him as he’s such a lovely guy.

“Stuart is a class act
– that’s why there has been so much interest in him.

“He’s up there with the best of them.

”Undoubtedly, he’ll make any team better.

“So did I want to see him moving to a team we could play against? Possibly not.”
