Although I believe it was the rain which caused the cancellation of today’s game it was the storm which caused me most concern. Football should not be played when a storm strong enough to cause structural damage is expected. Any building can be affected by a storm. While there is a tiny chance that any football stadium will be damaged, the consequences of a roof part landing on a packed stand would be severe.
There should be a clear rule on this.
The Foundation Christmas Appeal bucket collection has been postponed for two weeks. This is a critical period for all of the agencies who were due to receive funds from this appeal, I know the Foundation are working with them in the interim period. Today’s attendance would probably have been low due to the conditions, so hopefully the delay will raise more money than we would have raised had today’s game gone ahead.

You can now have a balanced opinion after reading can mans posts and watching BbC/sky news
The truth is always somewhere in the middle
67heaven…,
the point of posting it was that you wont get it in the news, you’ll get edited versions that allow ambiguity and misrepresentation but you know that because you’ve read and watched the MSM all your life. And are obviously very happy with the lies your fed.

Final point on the subject – I need to get some work done !!
Bombing Syria – is a waste of time – given the information I have via the media !!!
But I do believe there is stuff I don’t know that exists and that bombing Syria could be for the greater good !!!
But reality is – I have no idea
There is no doubt a lot wrong with our “free democratic capitalist” world from fixing libor Rates to setting Exchange Rates to “stealing” money from hard working people through the banking system – not to mention FIFA and the corruption of our game – BUT give me this island over any other part of the world
Fixing the world is no easy task

Bombing is only an excuse and obfuscation against actually doing something that would help.
Corbyn already told Westminster how to bring the terrorism to an end and was laughed at, follow the money and stop the financing, job done, problem being there’s too many with their fingers in the till, especially those with the power and wealth and they stop at nothing.
Bet he wish he hadn’t said anything.

My only issue with that, is that I think they now control a big enough area to at least self finance their control of that area. They may no longer be able to expand or finance attacks on foreign soil but it still abandons those left behind to their fate.
Bombing alone won’t provide a solution on that I agree but there’s not a solely diplomatic solution to this as far as I can see.
For me Daesh cannot be left as the controlling power anywhere.
