Clear rule required on storms

Although I believe it was the rain which caused the cancellation of today’s game it was the storm which caused me most concern. Football should not be played when a storm strong enough to cause structural damage is expected. Any building can be affected by a storm. While there is a tiny chance that any football stadium will be damaged, the consequences of a roof part landing on a packed stand would be severe.

There should be a clear rule on this.

The Foundation Christmas Appeal bucket collection has been postponed for two weeks. This is a critical period for all of the agencies who were due to receive funds from this appeal, I know the Foundation are working with them in the interim period. Today’s attendance would probably have been low due to the conditions, so hopefully the delay will raise more money than we would have raised had today’s game gone ahead.

    There most definitely can be hate-when revenge is on the agenda and you have been hard done by in a serious matter.

     

    I have hate in me for particular people -and I will get revenge -for my family’s trauma.

    Yip, that goal was the icing on the cake, it shut up the brits big time, we were gonna get spanked by the beasts Blackburn, how did that work out, then the pool would wipe the floor with us, aye right, we had a team then, a team that given a tad of luck, we were as good as anything around at the time.

     

    I still have a horrible image of that little scroat of a ref that robbed us in the final, nothing new there then :-)

    It was the determination.

     

     

    Yes it was a GREAT fecking goal

     

     

    But he picked the ball up and as he let it run across him, you just knew,

    Loved the MON years,

     

     

    TBH prob the soberest (is that a word???) I watched the goals in that UEFA cup final.

     

     

    Was in Ayr with a huge amount of Tims. (in the Treehouse, it was so busy you had to walk out the front door and in the back door to go for a piss!!!!) Bloody brilliant day out on the Celtic. We ordered 10 pints at a time on a tray from the bar as it took so long to get served.

     

     

    Wish I could do it again! Where was everyone when seville happened (lease dont be fe ked off coz I wasnt there!!)

    I blame masel for us losing in the final, I watched every game in the same bar in Rathcoole, couldn’t get back in time for the final, had to watch it somewhere else, tis all my fault.

    just passing and decided to pass on a wee bit of my experience of getting rid of a few unwanted stone that seems to have accompanied my drift into lying on the settee, eating square sliced sausages and eating my latest labour saving (even if saving labour is but an hallucination…..my worst nightmare is being stuck in a room with Ruth Davidson, Kezia Dugdale and Kay Adams)……anyway …to my dietry advice…

    Fecking great. Walking into a pub in the west of scotland , jumping onto a chair, grabbing sangria and shouting CEEEEEELLLLLLTTTIIICC and not getting bottled.

    I felt so privileged that the place I bounced at were full to over capacity and no one got lobbed out for being a erm, over the top violent richard,
