Good result. Was never worried in build up. No getting carried away but we looked a good side.

Get it feckin’ round them Mark McGhee. Despite their efforts to bring up our pre-season results at every opportunity he bats them down as completely irrelevant.

Crisis club Celtic in Cliftonville cruise
O.G.Rafferty on
Sunshine, summer and Celtic at Solitude, no peelers cracking skulls and my girl’s birthday.
I am on a wee Greek island and I can watch the game live.
Wife doesn’t care for it but….
Just support the Celtic.

Tomorrow’s DR: Celtic on knifedge with only three away goals!!!!! Cliftonville fancy their barra when it comes to the return leg. Neil Lennon has crisis talks with Peter ‘I’ve got a 666 birthmark’ Lawell.
In other news, TRFC drops to an affordable price!

I watch big fraser take kick outs pre match and half time and hes really accurate with them to the left touchline ten yards into opponents half.
Maybe different width of park or possibly the surface which looked terrible on tv
How you doin big fella? Great stuff tonight – loved seeing all my favourite players having a great game. Every single one of them. Efe was composed and rock solid – great to see him back to his form after the Juve situation which was unavoidable but clearly upset him. A wee bit frustrated for Stokes – deserved a goal tonight as always for his work rate and importance in creating them for others. Tony Watt coming on was good to see – he revitalises the front line. Very fast bhoy, tons of energy.
Am certainly up for the hootenanay – saw BMCUW in Swindon a few weeks ago (we quickly jumped on the escape train to Bath I hasten to add :))

What’s the bus like? We demand to know!!!!!!!!
A fine, professional performance from Celtic.
This tie was never in danger despite the negativity surrounding pre-season results.
A lot of very good passing movements tonight and Lenny will be delighted with that showing.
Who’s next?
Professionals doing what they should.
Sammi, Broonie and KC terrific.
Kayal a total knob getting booked.

Scotland should be very pwoud…we must have the worst commentators in

Great night boys

Gaun yerself Big Bad John:
Jobbie McLean: ” Samaras has been a source of frustration for Celtic fans, John?”
BBJ: “Well in recent years, he’s scored some great goals for Celtic. I remember him scoring a great couple of goals against Rangers…..”

HERE = HEAR :o(
so what have we learnt tonight
firstly results in pre-season games are not important
Great to have football back, especially a Celtic game and a win, the bonus of a good performance too.
Hi Gold Coast Tom
Good news and a belated thanks to that bankers link the other day. Jaw dropping facts!
Great to see Scott Brown complete the full 90 minutes.
Great to see Rogic look like he will continue to improve and push hard for a place.
Great to see Sammi and Stokes press on from last season.
Great to see the banana skin was really a welcoming mat.
Sad to see Davie White has died.
He was manager of the former Rangers when we beat them 4-0 in the Connolly Cup Final.
One of my many happy memories from that era.
RIP Davie

Evening. Loved the night – you on for the Hootenanny?
Jimbo
All looked good. Big F F rusty with his kick outs.
While Celtic score three, no doubt the orange are scoring more own goals?
When will I realise that friendlies are about fitness ?
Could have saved me a lot of wailing and gnashing of teeth!!!

Maclean has the look of a man who has just discovered his house has burned down.
Bada bing
He’s a former Glentoran player. Few reds chanting ‘you’re just a Glentoran bastard’…
solid performance from Efe. Passed well and cleared his lines when needed!
What are the odds that Neil Lennon is Celtic’s manager the next time Celtic play thems.

Yes I thought you’d enjoy that read.

That was Special.
Very Happy.
Off to see The Specials for dessert.
Well played NFL and the bhoys
Safe trip and happy party night to all the good guys in Belfast

Very professional performance. Pre-season proved meaningless, surprise surprise.
