My issue was that it appeared TO ME that some of our players did not seem to be trying very hard,
Happy for Griff………hope he screws the nut and finds his salvation in the hoops.
I always wanted Derek Riordan to succeed and was gutted when he didn’t – Hope Griff prospers.

Acht well, who cares? Great to have the luxury to play the B team. The lad Robertson did very well, wee Dembele got some game time and Mikey, Griff and Bolingoli will be sharper for the experience.
The good and bad of Craig Gordon returned. Brilliant saves, abysmal passing. Played some nice possession football against strong opponents, but completely powderpuff in attack.
Don’t mean to be mean, but Lewis Morgan and Bayo don’t have it. And what’s the score with Shved? That one remains a mystery.
Onwards and upwards. A tiny hiccup in a brilliant season.
Been a Celtic man for over 50 years, ST holder and share holder and will criticise the team if they deserve it – and tonight they did (and our last 2 performances weren’t exactly stellar either) !

Young boys don’t look up for it. Huns will out fight them.
While disappointed that we lost, I am more than happy that we rested the likes of McGregor. I am also happy that the manager gave so many players a game who needed it, like Griffiths. Last of all, more than happy that we were in a position to give Robertson and Dembele a game.

Too many good things from Celtic game tonight to complain.Bauer looked so cool,Ntcham took much more responsibility,Griff looked really sharp ready to go Mikey in flashes looked brilliant,game time for Boli,Biton and some European experience for a couple of kids.Good performance from keeper.
Also we can see the same form that stopped Sinky getting a game.A further bonus,is that Lenny must see Morgan has to bulk up more before he can play any role.
I don’t mind losing a ‘ dead rubber’ game whatever that means but it was the manner of the defeat our centre forward didn’t have a shot at goal , our defensive frailties highlighted once again far to many cross balls and corners into our box not getting dealt with , fullbacks not defending wide men good enough and allowing crosses far to easily to come over, central defenders more concerned with pulling jerseys or holding onto opposition players other than attacking the cross ball with their head and dealing with the cross properly as defenders should, I could go on but would only get shouted down for it only being a training game.
There is not a football team in the world who NEVER lose a game .
I would have preferred that we won comfortably tonight. We didn`t. I accept that and am glad we have qualified as Group Winners. . I think resting so many players tonight improves our chances of winning on Sunday and I feel that is worth the disappointment of losing tonight.

My friends in Celtic,
As a Celtic supporter, of course I’m disappointed at the result. I never like it when we get beaten and that feeling will never change.
What disappointed me more than the result was the performance. With the exception of a few this group of players have the aspiration and will have the opportunity to play in our first team.
Not one player capitalised on this opportunity. ( Apart from maybe young Scott Robertson )
The journey continues, we move on.
PS : I really hope Celtic don’t overreact and dance to the tune of our enemies. Caitlin Brown ( Sports Therapist ) only posted what we all think and say on a regular basis. Huns is not a bigoted word, but it suits them perfectly.
