    Agree Boli looks to be all over the place. Big Odsonne showing up well but they are quick to get ball wide and then into our box quickly.

     

    Think we need to shore up our midfield a bit.

    Boli needs to keep it simple. Incredibly harsh to blame him for the goal. It was a killer pass and they took it well.

    Doing very well in an even contest. I think they are afraid of us going forward. Boli’s one footedness is causing us problems as they keep forcing him infield and he is making mistakes. If Neil can correct this, I think we’ll win. They can’t cope with Forrest. Odsonne and Ryan are playing well also. COYBIG 🍀🍀🍀

    Happy with one all at half time. important we got an away goal. A very scrappy nervous game, Boli a bundle of nerves. When we get ball to French Eddie he worries them. I’d take a 2 all now &would be confident of taking them in Celtic Park.

    Good first half. Needless goal conceded from our corner. Morgan ought to have cut it off and Bain might have done better. Yes, Boli was caught on the blind side. Up till then he was playing well couple of slack passes since but so has Christie and won’t find me getting on to him. Jamesie’s goal was a pure tonic. Worked his socks off….. as per usual.

     

    Our Bhoys are playing well. Keep it up Celts.

    Give the guy a break – he’s very isolated every time he gets the ball. it’s a tricky away tie in Europe and he’s a defender – shouldn’t be over the halfway line. Usual media and some Celtic support just write off players so quickly –

    Personally think he criticism of Boli for their goal is a bit harsh. We,were very exposed down the left with Boli trying to track the 2 that he saw and the 1 that was blindside. The score is better than the performance at the moment. But we’ve only played the 1st quarter. I remain confident.

    If I was to offer any criticism it would be on Morgan who has had a number of wayward passes tbh

    Need to play this for what it is, a two legged tie. Sometimes it feels like am watching a winner takes all one off game. Hold the ball up and get defence tighter with midfield support. We will do this team at Celtic Park if we keep ourselves in the tie tonight.

    SS’s absence is a mystery. Maybe injured, or dropped.

     

     

    I suspect Celtic triggered his 12 month contract extension in the summer, in order to get a fee this window, rather than lose him for nowt

    Ball should have been cut out in midfield by Morgan,causing Boli to turn and chase.

    All he had to do was halt his run to play Rondon offside. He has no defensive awareness as has been proven on a number of occasions this evening. He has also given the ball away far too easily and too often.

    Hello BGFC here :-))

     

     

    First half:

     

     

    Positives – Edouard, Wee Jimmy, Kris (although lost a couple of croisses in our area), Jozo, Broonie, Elhamed (sp – got better as game progressed after dodgy positioning in first 20 mins), Christie (mostly – started well and had some good positive runs, but see below), McGregor (tidy enough but not overly effective)

     

     

    Negatives – Boli (dearie me – awful first half – lost the plot – would replace if KT was fit / still played with us), Morgan (not all bad, but looks a wee bit lost at times – might replace), Christie (some poor decisions – wasted very good free-kick chance – should be fine), Bain (shut yer legs ya tart)

     

     

    We never collapsed when they scored.

    Not looking to criticise – only an observation. But our goal scorer didn’t track their scorer – they both crossed the half way line roughly at same time. James then slowed down, while their player ran behind Bolingoli (on his blindside).

     

    As with many goals conceded on the counter attack, there were multiple players who could have done better defensively.
