Good performance and great result considering the conditions.
Well done to Clyde they tried to make a game of it.
We move on to the jam tarts, the mini’s, the diet’s, The Edinburgh Huns on Wednesday, let’s rest up and get ready to go at a packed Celtic Park under the lights.

Substitutions at times really are baffling. What was the point of the Hayes change and then giving Shved a couple of minutes

Hope NL can improve his man management. Talks about how Shved is struggling then gives the lad 5mins. Could have done better there.
His outburst agsinst Mikey and his treatment of Sinclair were poor too.

The boys tell me that Klimala is getting bad reviews.
That’s at odds with what I saw. Difficult conditions, missed one good chance – not the first striker to do so – but thought he showed up well enough to give hope for the future.
Celtic have been flying form wise since the break. Lennon has gone predominantly with 3-5-2 and accommodated Griffiths and Edouard. James analyses whether this change of shape is producing as successful performance numbers as results.

Well done today in dreadful conditions. Think Bayo might come good . He is an imposing presence and his goal will give him cofidence .
Neil Lennon needs to keep Bayo,Sheved,I seen 2good players out there this afternoon, hopefully they will get more first team Football, also Polish Paddy will come good.

People commented on Patryk missing a great chance to open his account. Straight after it, I said I hoped he scored so he didn’t have nightmares about his miss -just a wee expression, meant as a positive not a negative, meaning I hope he doesn’t dwell on it. Be it Messi, Ronaldo, Larsson or whoever – when they miss a sitter, then most folk say FFS how did he miss that? Nobody’s questioning their ability.
Bayo likewise might have done better but I think everyone knows that they can’t be judged just on a cameo appearance here and there.
The only other grumble on here was bringing Shved on for 5 minutes. He could have had 30 mins, he’s supposed to be a right winger, why take JF off and put Hayes on?
It’s ok to ask, no? Or are we not allowed to have opinions.? Differing viewpoints?

Maybe it was before the triple treble, when all our games were away and the huns always got home ties. Something about keeping the lights on.
I’m a sucker for an urban myth though,

Managers usually bring subs on in the dying minutes of a game to eat up time if they are hanging on in a tight game , not when they are coasting. It’s maybe just Lenny’s managerial style which , when all’s said and done , we can’t really criticise.
Call_of_Juarez on
Wonder if NL will continue with 2 strikers now that Mo Ely looks as tho he is ready.
Glad that Calum and Eddy had a day off today. Don’t see Boli dislodging Taylor anytime soon.

only disappointment was not putting on shved for JF other than JH , giving him a couple of mins at the end pointless.
Ron67 – +1. Made no sense to me whatsoever.
Agreed RON67.
Spent more time getting instructions than time on the field.
