COLBY DONOVAN has been called into the Scotland Under-21 squad for the forthcoming European Championship qualifiers against Gibraltar and Bulgaria.
The Celtic right-back, who has made the first-team breakthrough this season, will be joined in the player pool with Hoops team-mates Ben McPherson and Kyle Ure who are currently on loan at Partick Thistle and Ayr United respectively.
Scot Gemmill’s side, who require two victories to remain in contention to qualify for the finals hosted by Albania and Serbia in 2027, travel to face Gibraltar a week on Saturday before taking on Bulgaria at Fir Park three days later.

Anthony Ralston and Kieran Tierney have been named in the senior squad by Steve Clarke for the World Cup qualifiers against Greece in Athens on November 15 and Denmark at Hampden three days later.
Former Hoops keeper Scott Bain, who joined Falkirk in the summer, is also included after making his last appearance for his country against San Marino in March 2019.
He takes the place of injured No.1 Angus Gunn while Craig Gordon (Hearts) is also a contender for the gloves.
Jack Hendry (Al Etiffaq), Ryan Christie (Bournemouth) and Ben Gannon Doak (Bournemouth) are among the other ex-Celts.
The Scots will qualify for the World Cup Finals for the first time since 1998 if they draw in Greece and beat Denmark.
