COLLUM TAKES CHARGE OF DERBY

WILLIE COLLUM will take charge of Celtic’s Premiership game against Steven Gerrard’s Ibrox outfit at Parkhead on Sunday.

The FIFA-rated referee will be assisted by Frank Connor and Graeme Stewart while John Beaton has been confirmed as fourth official.

The whistler was in charge at Ibrox last season where he sent off Jozo Simunovic following a clash with Alfredo Morelos.

The decision did not prevent the champions from winning 3-2, despite playing for over half-an-hour with only 10 men.

Collum, 39, has shown red cards in his last two games – Kilmarnock’s Gary Dicker against Hearts at the weekend and Veton Berisha in the Rapid Vienna v Steaua Bucharest Europa League clash in the previous midweek.
